The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, April 20, 2021

A stalled-out storm will bring yet another wave of heavy

thunderstorms and flooding concerns to portions of the

Florida Peninsula tomorrow. Farther north, a storm and

associated cold front will continue to push eastward across

the center of the country, ushering unseasonably cold air in

its wake. This punch of cold air will allow precipitation to

fall in the form of snow across portions of the Ohio Valley

and Great Lakes. While lasting accumulations are unlikely

for most, travel could be hindered for a time across

affected areas. Farther west, snow showers and very cold air

will persist over portions of the North Central states. In

contrast, a warming trend will begin for the West Coast.
