...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southwestern Smith,

southwestern Rusk, northwestern Nacogdoches and Cherokee Counties

through 615 PM CDT...

At 539 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

an area extending from 6 miles northwest of New Salem to near Alto

to Forest. Movement was west at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...

Tyler, Jacksonville, Whitehouse, Rusk, Bullard, Troup, Alto, Wells,

Morrill, Ponta, New Salem, Mount Selman, Sacul, Mixon, Reese, Forest,

Douglass, Maydelle, New Summerfield and Noonday.
