Demolition of Osceola Inn begins

The east side of downtown Reed City is changing, as demolition of the Osceola Inn began this week and is expecting to continue Monday. The building dates back to the late 1800s and has been a topic of discussion for a couple of years between its former owner, the city and Yoplait. In December 2012, the city applied for and received a blight elimination grant from the state, and the state set a deadline for the grant funds.
