EVART -- Tabby Turley is confident the Evart volleyball team will be recording winning success in the second half of the season. Recently, the Wildcats lost 3-0 to arch-rival Pine River. \u201cWe played a decent game\u201d Turley said. \u201cWe got down and once one person gets down we all do. We played well (against Pine River).\u201d Turley, a sophomore, is in her second varsity season and said she\u2019s improved \u201ca lot\u201d from last season. \u201cMy passing has gotten better,\u201d she said, adding that her main focus for improvement is \u201cwatching where the hitters arms are going so I can get a better pass to my setter.\u201d The volleyball team, under new coach Jayme Maddern, continues to improve, Turley notes, adding that staying positive and not getting down remains a key to success. The Wildcats have one more week of regular season action. District action starts next week. \u201cWe want to get a win and not get down on each other,\u201d Turley said.
