Whitetails Unlimited Mecosta County Chapter will be having its banquet on March 16.
John RaffelBIG RAPIDS – The deadline for tickets is approaching as the Mecosta County Chapter of Whitetails Unlimited will be having its banquet on Thursday, March 16.
The banquet will be at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2335 in Big Rapids. Social hour is 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.
Deadline for purchasing tickets is Wednesday, March 1. Several different ticket packages are available.Tickets are $50 for single $35 for spouse or child 15 and under.
Tickets can be bought or printed at Whitetails/Unlimited.com or call event chairman Randy LaPreze (231) 349-1395 or WTU national headquarters at 800-274-5471.
“Everyone is welcome to attend but tickets must be purchased in advance,” LaPreze said. “We encourage everyone to purchase their tickets are soon as possible.”
As a nonprofit organization, the purpose of WU is to raise funds in support of educational programs.
WU's grassroot's program provides the primary financial support for conservation projects funded by WU. The organization points out more than $1.6 billion has been spent on program services to enhance and foster WU's Mission.
