Pioneer photo/John RaffelEVART – Evart improved to 16-3 overall and 13-2 in the Highland Conference with Tuesday’s 52-22 win over Houghton Lake.
Evart had quarter leads of 11-0, 17-9 and 39-15.
Kyrah Gray had 17 points, Emma Dyer 11, Addy Gray eight and Breanna Cass, Brooklyn Decker and Ally Theunick had four each. Gray had seven rebounds, Kyrah Gray had six rebounds, five assists and eight steals. Dyer had five assists and Theunick had seven steals.
“It was a great game with well-rounded scoring,” Evart coach Carrie Kunkle said. “In the second half, we played very aggressively. Things started to click and we showed what we can do as Evart girls basketball.”
