REED CITY — Two Reed City volleyball players have received all-league honors from the Central State Activities Association Gold Division.

Alison Duddles was on the first team and Madalynn Brown on the second team.

“Alison was our all-conference player this year,” Reed City coach Don Paterson said. “Alison is developing into an all-round player who, when healthy, is as good as any player in the area.”

Brown had  82 kills, 45 aces, 429 digs and served at 97 percent.

“Madalynn really improved her defense this year becoming one of the driving forces behind our defensive successes,” Patterson said.
