Reed City soccer team falls to Lakeview

LAKEVIEW — Lakeview built a 3-0 halftime lead and outscored Reed City 5-0 in the second half for an 8-0 Central State Activities Association (CSAA) boys soccer victory Thursday night.

Lakeview netted two goals apiece from Ryohei Mitsui, Triston Taylor and David Wheeler, and single goals from Ricky Harvey and Evan Saxton. Taylor’s second goal with 4:42 left in the game ended it on the mercy rule.

Lucas Sweet was goalkeeper for Lakeview while Troy Giese and Taylor Weiss split the duties for Reed City, which fell to 1-4 overall. It was Reed City’s fifth game in the last six days.
