REED CITY -- The regular season ended for the soccer Reed City Coyotes in a 6-4 CSAA loss to Kent City on Tuesday Oct. 8.

The game was tied 3-3 early in the second half when the Eagles exploded for three goals in a 12-minute time span. Then Ethan Maddox scored his third goal of the game late in the contest.

"They had a little bit of a run that hurt us," Reed City coach Chris Maddox said. "We let it get away from us a little bit."

Parker Benedict also scored for Reed City.

Benedict is a junior.

"It was rough today, he said. "We came to play in the first half but then we gave up too much. We have to focus now on getting a district win."

The Coyotes lost 3-0 to Ludington in the district.
