Reed City falls in final home matches

REED CITY — Reed City’s volleyball team fell in three dual matches at home on Thursday.

Reed City lost 25-21, 29-27 to White Cloud, fell to Benzie Central 27-25, 25-14 and bowed to Kingsley 25-12, 25-17.

For Reed City, Alyssa Olds had an ace and 32 digs; Meghan Borst had 13 kills, five aces, two blocks and 32 digs;

Madalynn Brown had an ace and 13 digs; Jordyn Storch had two kills, an ace, 20 digs and 32 assists; Sidni Rushford had 10 kills, three aces, a block and five digs; Madelin Mora had three kills, two aces and six digs; Allison Obermier two kills, an ace, one block and five digs; Alexis Van Eck five kills, a block and a dig; and Kiera Barker an ace and 10 digs.

The Coyotes ended their regular season at the Central Montcalm Invitational on Saturday.

Reed City lost four matches including to Central Montcalm 25-15, 25-8, and to Cadilac 25-4, 25-7.

For the Coyotes, Olds had 37 digs; Borst two kills, seven aces and 26 digs; Brown had an ace and eight digs; Storch two kills, an ace and 34 digs, plus 19 assists; Rushford had six kills, two aces and two digs; Mora two aces and nine digs; Obermeier nine kills, two blocks and two digs and Barker 10 digs.

Reed City is at the Class B district in Cadillac this week.
