By John Raffel Herald Review Sports Director REED CITY - Reed City sophomore Brandon Hall was playing goalkeeper for only the second time this season when the Coyotes took on Central State Activities Association foe Lakeview on Tuesday. Hall made the key saves down the stretch while Ethan Maddox scored two goals and Aiden Mieras added another in a 3-2 victory on Tuesday, "It went pretty good," Hall, who has played the position six seasons, said. "I usually play defense (Playing keeper) was fun. It was kind of nerve racking when at times, but everything turned out well. It's important to communicate with your team and make sure they know where you want them. I have good hands" Reed City led 3-1 at halftime. The key in Tuesday's win "was our morale," Hall said. "We have a big game coming up against our rivals Big Rapids (Thursday at home)." Reed City is now 4-10-1. "It was a very physical and aggressive game and could have gone either way," Coyote coach Chris Maddox said. " We were fortunate to come out on top. I like that our team stuck together. They talked play hard and physical and never gave up."
