“Our boys performed very well with a lot of personal records,” said Reed City coach Vikki Michell. “The weather was nice. They worked real hard. They scored in all but three events.”

Reed City’s girls were eighth with Hannah Price placing first in the 100 hurdles at 17.37 seconds and third in both the 300 hurdles in 54.59 seconds and 200 dash in 30.04 seconds.

“The girls’ times are improving, “Michell said. They’re all working hard. They’re working at getting stronger and faster.”

“It got cold on us,” said Reed City coach Brent Michell. “We were proud of our kids. They ran well and they ran hard. Some of the times at the end weren’t as good as I thought they might be this week. It started to get cold and you can’t always control those things. The most important thing is we’re still getting in shape and trying to find out who we are. The kids are developing an identity yet.”
