“I was very pleased,” Reed City coach Brent Mitchell said. “Hannah ran a personal best in the 100 and 300 hurdles. She matched her personal best in the 100. She had a good day. The 4x1 relay team had a personal best. We had some kids that didn’t place but set personal records. I was very happy with all of our kids performances and efforts.”

In a related matter, Michell said the recently passed bond issue will mean a new track for Reed City, most likely ready for the 2018 season.

“It will be set up so we can host regionals and big track meets,” Michell said.

Reed City is at the Central State Activities Association Gold Division Monday at Central Montcalm. The regionals are May 20 at Mason County Central.
