LEROY - Evart and Pine River track teams were at Lake City on May 11 in a Highland Conference three-way meet.
For the boys, Pine River beat Lake City 98-62 and Evart 105-43. Lake City beat Evart 100-53.
Pine River girls beat Lake City 86.5-67.5 and Evart 91-47 and Lake City topped Evart 79-72.
For the Evart boys, Bryant Calderon, Dakobe White, Marcel White and Kamden Darling were first in the 4x200 relay (1:40.21).
Kamden Darling won the high jump (5-10) for Evart. Bryant Calderon won the long jump 19-4.25.
For the Evart girls, Mackenzi VanBuren was first in the long jump (15-3.25), Kara Henry won the high jump 95-00, Mckenzy McKay was first in the shot put (28-6).
For the Pine River boys, Isaiah Dennis was first in the 200 meters (25;54) Logan Churchill won the 800 meters (2:21.50), 1600-meters and 3,200 meters (12:20.26). Kyle Root won the 110 (18.95), and 300 hurdles (53.12), and the 4x400 relay team (3:54:29) and the 4x800 relay (10:20.60) teams both won.
For the girls, Lorean Yeomans was first in the discus (96-3), the 4x200, 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams, Hailey Wanstead won the 800, 1600 and 3,200-meter runs. Sydney Edstrom won the 400 meters. Kendra Montagu won the 100 and 200 meters.
Saturday action
Pine River won both the boys and girls divisions in the Manton Invitational on Saturday.
Evart was fifth for the girls and eighth for the boys.
For the Pine River boys, Jayce Methner was second in the 800 meters (2:11.36). Logan Churchill was first in the 3,200 meters (9:57.79). Kyle Root was second in the 110-meter hurdles (18.05) and the 4x800 relay team was first in 9:53.30. Javen Wanstead was second in the discus (100-10).
For the girls, Kendra Montague was first in the 200-meters (27.39) and Lynnesia Belvin second (27.48). Belvin, Sydney Edstrom, Ellie Rigling and Montague were first in the 4x400 relay (4:21.82). Lorean Yeomans second in the discus (93-3).
For the Evart girls, Mackenzi VanBuren was second in the long jump (15-5), Kara Henry second in the high jump (4-8) and McKenzy Mckay third in the shot put (30-9).
The Evart boys 4x100 relay team of Bryant Calderon, Dakobe White. Marcel White and Andrue Smith was second in the 4x100 relay (46.73), the 4x200 relay team (1:45.07) was first, and Cannan Morgan was second in the high jump (5-10).
Evart was fifth for the girls and eighth for the boys.
