Pine River coach Jana Dennis was happy with her team’s play on Saturday despite falling in the final.

We came into this tournament with the goal of making it to finals,” she said. “We played well throughout the day and getting in finals. We faced a tough McBain team in semis who had gotten the best of us in pool play. With some adjustments we were able to take them down and meet Ludington. The fight we gave Ludington was a great one.”
