The Bucks had a good day on Saturday in Oscoda for districts and will be sending 10 individuals to regionals.

“Ryder Holmes 140, Phil Rigling 152, and Rogan Nelson 171 all took home the championship in convincing fashion,” PR coach Terry Martn said. “All three looked very strong throughout the tournament. Bryant Wing 103, Wyatt Underhill 145 were both second. Bryant has had limited action in his freshman year so it was very exciting to see him have a good day and put himself in the finals.”

Seth Duncan 125, Cayden Mys 160, and Andrew Baldwin 215 took third. Garrett Sperkoski 125 and Jordan Nelson 119 were fourth.

“I was very pleased with how we looked today,” Martin said. “We had many rematches where our wrestlers avenged earlier losses or widened the gap with their opponents. On Wednesday we will wrestle the team regional in TC St. Francis starting at 5:30. It should be a very competitive team tournament with a spot at the team finals on the line.”
