MANTON — The Bucks overcame Manton 17-25, 25-21,25-19,20-25,15-13 on Oct. 10 on the road.

“Tonight was a definite show of resilience,” head coach Jana Dennis said. I knew coming in that this would be a battle and a battle it was. We came into this game a little sluggish after playing in a tourney on Saturday and playing Clare last night. We worked the kinks out in game one and then started to get things together as the games went on.

“Tonight was a sure testament to the mental toughness this team has and their ability to make the ball better. In the end, we came away with a great Highland Conference win.”
