"We just never really hit our stride," Johnson said. "We had moments when I thought we were about do, but then sit back again. I said at the beginning of the year we knew Layne Nadig would pitch well. We needed to have other guys step up. We have some young guys coming back next year. They got valuable experience. I'm excited for those kids coming back."
