LAKEVIEW – The Reed City boys team got their first win in program history with a 23-7 win over Lakeview at Alley Cat Lanes on Saturday.
“They bowled very consistent in the Baker Games with games of 132 and 139 for a 135.5 average,” RC coach Thomas Wheeler said.
In the individual games the boys won 7 of the 10 match-ups. Cy Eichenberg and Michael Perri led the way. Eichenberg won both his matches and bowled a 154 and 137 for a 145.5 average. Perri won one point and bowled a 160 and 156 for a 158 average.
Lakeview won the girls match 27.5-2.5 over Reed City.
Morgan Morely continued her consistent season with a 102.5 average on the day winning 1.5 points.
“Callie Chupp continues to show improvement,” Wheeler said. “She took one point and bowled a high game of 132 with a 117.5 average on the day.”
