3-D shoot set for Lake County Sportsman Club

BALDWIN – The popular 3-gun shoot is returning to Baldwin.

It is set for Sept. 25 at the Lake County Sportsman Club clubgrounds located east of Baldwin off the intersection of Mckinley and Baldwin roads.

There will be four events with the 100-yard long gun shoot, the 10-yard pistol shot, the 5-clay pigeon shot gun shoot and entering all three events for a separate score and cash prize. Entry fees are $10 for each event plus $10 for entering all three events.

Each event’s income is awarded independently. Registration is from 11 a.m. to noon and shooting goes from 12:30 p.m. or until it’s completed.

The long gun shoot can consist of any caliber. Each participant gets a target and each shooter gets five shoots and the target gets scored. The pistol shoot gives each participant a target. He or she gets five shots and the target gets scored. Shooters supply their own ammo.

In the shoot gun shoot, each shooter gets 5 clay pigeons, supplied by the club. Each pigeon hit is 10 points.
