Reed City Police Report 07\/29-08\/04 07\/29\/13 \u2022 Officers were called to the hospital for an unknown disturbance in the ambulance bay with a mental subject.\u00a0 Officers arrived on scene and the matter had been resolved and no action was needed. \u2022 Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.\u00a0 It was discovered that the driver had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for a weapons offense out of the Osceola County Sheriff's Department.\u00a0 The subject was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. \u2022 Officers responded to the hospital for a suspicious person loitering in the parking lot.\u00a0 The subject was identified and determined to be homeless.\u00a0 The subject was directed off the property and he complied. \u2022 Officers were called for a barking dog complaint on W Fifth Ave.\u00a0 Officers checked the area and were not able to locate any dogs barking.\u00a0 The complaint was unfounded. 07\/30\/13 Officers responded to a residence for an unlawful dumping complaint.\u00a0 The complainant reported that someone had dumped soil and broken pots on her property.\u00a0 A possible suspect has been identified and the matter is under investigation. 08\/01\/13 \u2022 Officers were called to the hospital for a lost property complaint.\u00a0 The complainant stated she misplaced her chain.\u00a0 A description was obtained and a report completed. 08\/02\/13 \u2022 Officers responded to a business in the city for a retail fraud complaint involving two juveniles.\u00a0 The parents of the juveniles were contacted and responded to the scene to take custody of their children.\u00a0 A report has been completed and forwarded to Probate Court for action. \u2022 Officers received a referral from Child Protective Services of a complaint of a child's mother using marijuana.\u00a0 The matter is under investigation. \u2022 Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.\u00a0 The passenger had an outstanding warrant out of Bay City however the State Police Post would not pick the subject up from Reed City.\u00a0 The subject was advised of the warrant and released. 08\/03\/13 \u2022 Officers responded to a noise complaint at an apartment complex.\u00a0 Upon arrival no noise was heard.\u00a0 The complaint was unfounded. \u2022 Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.\u00a0 It was determined that the driver was in violation of his restricted license and was arrested.\u00a0 A second vehicle pulled up behind the patrol unit and that driver was identified as being the wife of the driver of the first vehicle.\u00a0 The driver of the second vehicle was operating on a suspended license and without insurance and was also arrested.\u00a0 Both individuals were lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. \u2022 Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.\u00a0 It was determined that the driver was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.\u00a0 The driver was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident. \u2022 Officers assisted the Michigan State Police on a traffic stop inside the city where the driver was being arrested for operating while intoxicated. 08\/04\/13 \u2022 Officers were called to the High School for a report of someone on the roof.\u00a0 Officers arrived on scene and located the subjects who were trying to get a ball off the roof.\u00a0 Verbal warnings were given.
