Prelim set for Harrison man accused of double homicide

REED CITY — Blake Hullihen, a Harrison man accused of committing a double homicide in December, has been scheduled for preliminary examination at 1:30 p.m. on April 19 in Osceola County’s 77th District Court.

Hullihen, 26, faces two charges of open homicide after a Dec. 7 shooting outside Chuck’s Corners Citgo Convenience Store in Marion near the intersection of M-115 and M-66. Hullihen allegedly shot Gabrielle Woodworth, the mother of Hullihen’s 6-year-old daughter, and Woodworth’s boyfriend, Donald C. Feneis. Hullihen and Woodworth were engaged in a child custody battle at the time of the shooting.

In January, Hullihen was sent to a state hospital to undergo a mental competency exam, which can take up to three months to complete.
