Osceola County’s 77th District Court reports

REED CITY — The following cases were heard this week in Osceola County’s 77th District Court. All cases might not be reported.

  • Ronald Alan Haskins, 61, of Burr Oak, pleaded guilty to operating while visibly impaired. He is sentenced to 30 days in jail with one day credit. He is given the option to be on a tether for 30 days in lieu of jail. He will be on probation for 18 months. He must complete the alcohol highway safety education program.
  • Marcus Phillip Parzych, 31, of Tustin, pleaded guilty to attempted assaulting/resisting/obstructing an officer. He is sentenced to time served. He will be on probation for one year.
  • James Leroy Bechtol II, 46, of Evart, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. He is sentenced to 93 days in jail with nine days credit.
  • Brian Jay Cavazos, 21, of Evart, pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is sentenced to 30 days in jail with six days credit. He will be on probation for one year.
  • Gregory Ray Miller Jr., 46, of Cadillac, pleaded guilty to second-offense domestic violence. He is sentenced to 180 days in jail with 28 days credit. He will be on probation for two years.
  • Nathan Allen Wolverton, 31, of Hersey, pleaded guilty to third-degree retail fraud. He is sentenced to 48 days in jail with 39 days credit. He is ordered to pay $12.99 in restitution.
  • Brennon Michael-Jean Strong, 26, of Tustin, pleaded guilty to disorderly person. He is sentenced to five days in jail with three days credit. He is given the option to perform 16 hours of community service in lieu of jail. He will be on probation for six months. He must complete anger management.
  • Charles Chester Dykgraaf, 24, of Lake City, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. He is sentenced to 15 days in jail with three days credit. He will be on probation for 18 months. He must complete alternatives to violence classes.
  • Steve Charles Decator, 60, of Evart, pleaded no contest to one count of assault, one count of entry without permission and one count of trespassing. He is sentenced to seven days in jail with three days credit. He will be on probation for 18 months.
  • Stephen Wayne Booker Jr., 32, of Evart, pleaded guilty to use of marijuana. He is sentenced to 20 days in jail. He will be on probation for one year.
  • Joseph William Cross, 31, of Evart, pleaded no contest to attempted assaulting/resisting/obstructing an officer. He is sentenced to 90 days in jail with 53 days credit. He will be on probation for two years. He must complete anger management classes.
  • Thayer Burgess Argue II, 48, of Evart, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated. He is sentenced to time served. He also must perform 32 hours of community service as part of his sentence. He will be on probation for one year.
  • Gregory Sperkoski, 47, of LeRoy, pleaded guilty to operating with a high blood alcohol content. He is sentenced to time served. He will be on electronic monitoring for 30 days. He will be on probation for one year.
  • Jaime Lynn Davis, 37, of Hesperia, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated. He is sentenced to 30 days in jail with one day credit. He is given the option of 90 days electronic monitoring or 60 days electronic monitoring plus Impact weekend in lieu of jail. He will be on probation for two years. The vehicle used in the offense shall be immobilized or forfeited.
