Nov. 7: An officer was dispatched to a sudden death complaint at a residence. The officer was assisted by EMS.
An officer handled two (2) separate harassment complaints. The officer spoke to all parties involved and advised them to avoid contact with each other. These cases are closed.
An officer was dispatched to a residence reference a trespassing complaint. The officer spoke to the complainant and made contact with the suspect who was advised of the No Trespassing order.
Nov. 11: An officer was dispatched to a residence reference a suspicious person who was loitering near a residence. The officer made contact with the subject who was advised to leave the area upon being file checked.
Nov. 12: An officer was dispatched to a business reference an alarm. The officer searched the building and the surrounding area. The business was found to be secure and the alarm was due to a system malfunction.
An officer was dispatched to assist Animal Control on a call reference a dog at large. The owner was later contacted and issued a citation.
Nov. 13: An officer was dispatched to a Malicious Destruction of Property complaint. Photos were taken of the damaged traffic signs along the Rails to Trails. If anyone has any information concerning these damages, please contact the Evart Police Department.
An officer was dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with traffic control during a motorist assist complaint.
