● An officer was dispatched to a local business for a parking complaint.  The vehicle owner was contacted and advised to move the vehicle.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence regarding an assault complaint involving minors.  The officer made contact with the complainant as well as both alleged suspects.  Upon further investigation, the complainant admitted to filing a false police report. The case was turned over to Probate Court.

●  An officer responded to a residence for a domestic assault complaint.  The officer made contact with the complainant and the suspect.  The suspect was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail.

● An officer responded to the Evart Middle School regarding an unruly juvenile complaint.  The officer made contact with the student and school personnel; the case was turned over to Probate Court.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence for a dog at large complaint.  The officer was unable to secure the dog or identify the owner of the dog.

● An officer was dispatched to a local business to assist the Michigan State Police with a complaint.

● An officer responded to a domestic violence complaint.  The officer made contact with the complainant and determined an assault did occur.  Officers responded to the suspect’s residence, where the subject was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to a civil dispute.  The officer made contact with both parties involved and the issue was resolved without incident.

● An officer responded to a residence for a civil dispute.  The officer made contact with the subjects involved and stood by until the parties reached a mutual agreement.

● An officer was dispatched to a location outside of the city to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a disorderly conduct complaint.

● An officer responded to a business outside of the City to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a security alarm.  The building was secure and officers cleared the scene without incident.

● An officer responded to a civil dispute complaint.  The officer made contact with both parties involved and assisted them in resolving the issue.

● An officer was dispatched to Reed City Hospital to transport a suicidal subject to a mental health facility.  The transport was completed without incident.

● An officer was dispatched to a location in the city for a traffic complaint.  The officer made contact with the driver, who indicated she had a flat tire.  The officer cleared the scene without incident.

● An officer was dispatched to a local business for a failure to return rental property complaint.  The officer made contact with the suspect, who agreed to return the property by the end of the day.

● An officer was dispatched to a location outside of the city to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic accident.

● Officers on patrol found an open door at a Church in the city.  Officers checked the building and everything was secure.  The key holder was contacted.

● Officers handled a walk in complaint in regards to a Bond Conditional Release Violation.  Through investigation it was determined that the complainant had already filed the same complaint with another police agency.  No action was needed.

● Officers responded to a residence for a misuse of 911 complaint.  Dispatch advised that they were getting numerous 911 calls and could hear a child on the other end and it appeared they were playing with the phone.  Officers arrived on scene and observed fresh tire tracks in the snow leaving the driveway.  Officers checked the residence and no one was home.

● Officers issued a trash abatement to a property owner at a residence in the city.  The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken.

● Officers were called to a business for a retail fraud complaint.  The complainant advised that the suspect ran out of the store with a case of beer.  The incident was captured on the store’s surveillance system and the suspect was identified, located, arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers located a subject at his residence that had an outstanding warrant for Neglect Child out of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department.  The subject was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers handled a walk in traffic complaint from a bus driver.  The complainant stated that a vehicle had passed her bus while it was unloading students with the red flashing lights on.  The complainant was able to obtain a license plate and the suspect was identified.  The matter is under investigation.
