● An officer was dispatched to a local business for a personal property damage accident.  No injuries were reported.

● An officer was dispatched to a local business for a two-vehicle accident.  No injuries were reported.

● An officer responded to a complaint of child-abuse.  The officer made contact with the suspect; the case is still open pending further investigation.

● An officer was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on West 7th Street.  Minor injuries were reported.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence for a welfare check after Central Dispatch received a 911 hang-up call.  The officer made contact with the individuals at the home, and the scene was cleared without incident.

● An officer was dispatched to a one-vehicle accident on South Main Street.  No injuries were reported.

● An officer responded to a criminal-sexual conduct complaint.  The officer made contact with the complainant who admitted to filing a false police report.  The case was turned over to the Osceola County Prosecutor.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with an arrest.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence in regards to a noise complaint.  The officer made contact with the individuals at the residence and advised them of the complaint.  The parties involved agreed to keep noise to a minimum.

● An officer assisted an individual who came into the Evart P.D. with a harassment complaint.  The officer interviewed both parties involved; the case is still open pending further investigation.

● Officers were dispatched to a local business for a complaint of a suspicious person.  Officers made contact with the complainant, but upon searching the area were unable to locate the individual in question.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to a domestic violence complaint.  Upon arrival the officer determined an assault did occur.  The suspect was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  It was discovered that the driver was operating on a suspended license.  The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers did a peace officer stand by at a residence while a mother went to pickup her child in which she had paperwork stating she had initial custody of the child.  The child was turned over to the mother without incident.

● Officers responded to the parking lot of an apartment complex for a report of a domestic disturbance.  Officers arrived on scene to find that it was a verbal argument only.  Both parties were given a warning and provided with a course of action.

● Officers were called to a residence for a trespassing complaint.  The complainant reported that someone was walking through his yard.  Officers attempted to locate the subject but were unable to.  A report was completed.

● Officers responded to a business for a found property complaint.  The business manager found items in the walk-in cooler.  The items were taken into safe keeping until claimed by the owner.

● Officers were requested to perform a well being check at an apartment complex in the city for an individual.  It was determined that the subject moved from the complex some time ago and a new address was not known.

● Officers were requested by the Parole Department to check on a parolee at a residence in the city to ensure he was in compliance with his parole conditions.

● Officers were called to an apartment complex for a report of a larceny of food.  A report was completed.

● Officers on patrol located a subject at his residence that had an outstanding warrant for retail fraud.  The subject was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers on patrol located an open door at a business in the city.  The building was searched and found to be secure.  The property owner was notified.

● Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

● Officers were called to a residence for a harassment complaint.  The complainant reported that her children were being harassed at school.  A report was completed and turned over to school administration.

● Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department on a traffic stop with numerous subjects in the vehicle.  Once the scene was secure the officer resumed patrol duties.

● Officers responded to a parking complaint at an apartment complex in the city.  The manager of the complex needed an unauthorized vehicle towed so the parking lot could be plowed.

● Officers assisted the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Department in searching for a suspect vehicle that had fled from Mecosta County deputies.

● Officers responded to a residence to assist EMS on a call of a female who was choking.  Officers arrived on scene first and found that subject did not have a pulse and was choking on a marshmallow.  Officers removed the marshmallow and began CPR.  A pulse was returned and care was turned over to Rescue and EMS personal.

● Officers were called to an apartment complex for a noise complaint.  The subject was located and given a verbal warning.

● Officers assisted the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Department in checking an address in the city for a wanted vehicle.  The vehicle was not at the residence.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  It was determined that the driver was operating the vehicle while intoxicated and was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.
