Officers stopped a vehicle for loud exhaust and found the driver to have a warrant for unpaid child support. The 26-year-old male was issued a verbal warning on the exhaust, and he was then arrested and transported to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department without incident.

Officers received a complaint regarding bad checks from a local business. The matter is pending review with the prosecuting attorney’s office.

Officers were dispatched to local residence regarding a domestic assault that took place earlier that day. Officers arrested a 38-year-old male for violating the conditions of his probation, as he had a no contact order in place as a result of a previous domestic assault with his wife. He was transported to the Osceola County Jail where he was lodged without incident.

Officers were requested to assist the Michigan State Police and Child Protective Services with an investigation.

Officers were dispatched to the report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was determined to be taken by an estranged spouse, therefore making it a civil matter.

While on patrol, officers found the front door of a local business unlocked. Search of the building was conducted and a key holder was contacted to come lock the door.

Officers were dispatched to Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital to assist the security officer with a 53-year-old male wandering around inside and outside the building including restricted areas. Officers had to return as the male refused to comply. He was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail.

Officers were called to local residence regarding a civil dispute. Since the 43-year-old female was in the process of moving, offices advised her of the proper course of action to take.

While on patrol, officers found the unlocked door of a local business. The building was searched and nothing was found to be out of place. The business owner was contacted, and came in and locked up without incident.

Officers were called to the Osceola County District Court house regarding a 27-year-old male. He was found to be in contempt of count and had a warrant for violating the conditions of his bond. He was taken into custody and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Officers were called to local residence regarding the larceny from a building. The officers found the missing items had been taken by two juveniles. The matter has been turned over to the prosecutor for review

Officers took a complaint of an hit-and-run accident. There were not injuries and only minor damage. The matter is under investigation.

Officers were dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriffs Department with scene security while they completed their investigation regarding an individual in need of EMS.

Officers were dispatched to respond with the Osceola County Sheriff's Department to a bar fight with multiple people involved. Officers assisted on scene while the Sheriff’s Department was investigating and conducting interviews.

Officers were dispatched to the Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital Emergency Room regarding a disorderly female. Officers were able to calm the female and get her to accept treatment.

While performing traffic stop for a speeding violation, officers were confronted with a belligerent 27-year-old male. A citation was issued for speeding and for failure to change the address on his operator’s license. A second stop was made and a citation was issued for careless driving, and for intentionally spinning the tires, showering the both officers and the patrol car with gravel, when he was leaving the first traffic stop. The matter has been turned over to the prosecutor for review pending possible additional charges.

Officers were dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a possible breaking and entering. The caller also reported hearing multiple gun shots. Officers assisted in clearing the property and found no signs of a B&E.

Officers went to the residence of a 55-year-old male and placed him under arrest on an outstanding warrant out of another jurisdiction. He was transported to Meceola Central Dispatch and released to the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Department to be transported to the Mecosta County jail.

Officers were dispatched to assist Michigan State Police on a traffic stop with multiple warrants.
