Animal Complaint — Officers responded to a dog at large complaint. Upon arrival, the dog had made his way home and the officers made contact with the owner.

Harassment — Officers were dispatched to a harassment complaint. The case remains open at this time.

Domestic — Officers were dispatched to a verbal domestic. Officers investigated the complaint and determined no assault had occurred. The subjects were advised to work out their differences.

Larceny — An officer responded to a larceny complaint at a local business. The case remains open at this time.

Officers responded to local apartment complex to assist EMS with an unresponsive male tenant.

Officers were dispatched to a two-car accident on North Park and Upton Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Officers were dispatched to assist the Kent County Probate Court with a child custody issue. The individuals were not located and the matter was turned back over to Kent County.

While performing a traffic stop for tinted windows, Officers found the 33-year-old male driver to be driving without a valid license and no insurance. The 33-year-old female passenger was found to have two outstanding warrants. Both were arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail and lodged without incident.

Officers were dispatched to a local apartment complex in reference to a civil matter of retrieving clothing from her apartment. It was determined that contact with the male resident would be a violation of the female’s bond conditional release. She was advised to leave and not return.

Officers stood by as a 17-year-old female collect her belongings from her ex boyfriends’ apartment.

Officers assisted Child Protective Services with a child removal from a residence due to safety concerns for the child.

Officers received a complaint regarding reckless driving. The matter is under investigation.

Officers stopped a vehicle with an expired registration plate. The resulting investigation found the driver to be unlicensed and from out of country. Citations were issued and the vehicle was turned over to a valid driver pending further investigation.

Officers were dispatched to a car/deer accident. No injuries were reported.

Officers handled a parking complaint with a vehicle blocking an alley. A citation was issued.

Officers served a court order from Mecosta County regarding child custody. Officers then stood by to ensure there was no breach of the peace while the child was taken by other family members in accordance with the court order.

While on foot patrol, officers found an open door after business hours downtown. Finding nothing out of place, the door was closed, engaging the electronic lock, securing the building.

Officers responded to a barking dog complaint, but were unable to locate the dog.

Officers were dispatched to the larceny of a musical instrument. The matter is under investigation.

Officers were called to pick up a 37-year-old male who had an outstanding warrant for violating his probation. The individual was located, arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Officers issued a verbal warning for open burning inside city limits.

Officers observed a suspicious situation regarding several people in a local parking lot, gathered around a vehicle and possibly attempting to break in. The owner told the officer his friends were helping him move into one of the apartments and he had locked his keys in his car and they were trying to jimmy the door to get inside. Ownership was verified and officers cleared.

While performing a traffic stop for speeding, Officers found the 23-year-old female driver to operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Her vehicle was then towed and she was placed under arrest and lodged in the Osceola County Jail with out incident.

Officers observed two vehicles parked in the cemetery after dark. Officers found two people talking in one of the vehicles and issued verbal warnings for being in the cemetery after dark.

Officers were dispatched to respond to a domestic dispute. Officers spoke with the 35-year-old female who stated she had been verbally arguing with her boyfriend prior to him leaving. She also stated that there had been no physical abuse. Case closed.
