Officers received a call regarding an 84-year-old male who was traveling alone to an appointment and the family hadn’t heard from him for a while. He was later found in his car, parked in a parking lot, and it is believed he died of natural causes. Case closed.

Officers were informed of minors using tobacco. Interviews were conducted with all parties involved and the information has been passed on to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review.

Officers arrested a 44-year-old male who held an outstanding warrant out of another jurisdiction. He was transported and lodged in the Osceola County Jail to await pickup without incident.

Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

Officers were dispatched to local residence regarding a domestic assault. The 30-year-old male was accused of assaulting a minor in the home and left the residence. The matter has been turned over to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review.

Officers were dispatched to local parking lot regarding the welfare of two dogs. The caller believed the dogs had been left in the vehicle for more than five hours. The owners were located and assured the responding officers the dogs were being checked hourly and they would be not being staying overnight in the vehicle.

Officers were dispatched to an alarm activation at a local factory. Officers found the alarm had not been turned off when an employee entered in the morning.

Officers were called to the courthouse to assist with a stand-by regarding a parolee with a malfunctioning tether. The malfunction was fixed without incident.

Officers arrested a 37-year-old female on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction. She was transported and lodged in the Osceola County Jail to await pickup.

Officers were dispatched to a car/deer accident on Church Street. No injuries were reported.

Officers were dispatched, twice, to local apartment regarding possible domestic dispute. The matter was unfounded.

Officers were dispatched to assist the Michigan State Police with the arrest of three young men who were believed to be intoxicated and disorderly. They all were lodged in the Osceola Count Jail without incident.

Officers located and arrested a 38-year-old female on a warrant for child neglect. She was transported and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Officers responded to a call regarding a loud party at a local apartment complex. Minor In Possession of alcohol citations were issued to two under aged individuals. A 47-year-old male was located and issued an appearance citation for furnishing alcohol to minors in connection with the matter.

Officers received a complaint regarding some juvenile boys disrupting a residence by knocking on the door and running off. Officers spoke with the boys and found it to be a misunderstanding between friends.

Officers were dispatched to perform a well-being check on a 55-year-old female who had not been answering her phone for three days. Officers located the individual and found she had an outstanding warrant out of another jurisdiction. She was then placed under arrest, transported and lodged in the Osceola County Jail to await pickup.

While on patrol at a local apartment complex, officers observed a vehicle in violation of City Ordinance code #1284.13. This ordinance is regarding the storage of inoperable or unregistered vehicles. It is prohibited unless confined within an enclosed structure. An abatement notice was served.

Officers were dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff's Department. Officers were requested to locate an individual who had fled the scene. The subject was located and transported back to the scene. Officers stood by to assist with scene security while OCSD completed their investigation.
