Reed City 12\/28 Officers received a call regarding an 84-year-old male who was traveling alone to an\u00a0appointment and the family hadn\u2019t heard from him for a while. He was later found in his car,\u00a0parked in a parking lot, and it is believed he died of natural causes. Case closed. Officers were informed of minors using tobacco. Interviews were conducted with all parties\u00a0involved and the information has been passed on to the Prosecuting Attorney\u2019s Office for review. Officers arrested a 44-year-old male who held an outstanding warrant out of another jurisdiction.\u00a0He was transported and lodged in the Osceola County Jail to await pickup without incident. 12\/29 Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident. The matter has been\u00a0turned over to the Prosecuting Attorney\u2019s Office for review. 12\/30 Officers were dispatched to local parking lot regarding the welfare of two dogs. The\u00a0caller believed the dogs had been left in the vehicle for more than five hours. The owners were located\u00a0and assured the responding officers the dogs were being checked hourly and they would be\u00a0not being staying overnight in the vehicle. 12\/31 Officers were dispatched to an alarm activation at a local factory. Officers found the alarm had not been turned off when an employee entered in the morning. Officers were called to the courthouse to assist with a stand-by regarding a parolee with a\u00a0malfunctioning tether. The malfunction was fixed without incident. Officers arrested a 37-year-old female on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction.\u00a0She was transported and lodged in the Osceola County Jail to await pickup. Officers were dispatched to a car\/deer accident on Church Street. No injuries were reported. Officers were dispatched, twice, to local apartment regarding possible domestic dispute. The\u00a0matter was unfounded. Officers were dispatched to assist the Michigan State Police with the arrest of three young men who\u00a0were believed to be intoxicated and disorderly. They all were lodged in the Osceola Count Jail\u00a0without incident. 1\/1 Officers located and arrested a 38-year-old female on a warrant for child neglect. She\u00a0was transported and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers responded to a call regarding a loud party at a local apartment complex. Minor In\u00a0Possession of alcohol citations were issued to two under aged individuals.\u00a0A 47-year-old\u00a0male was located and issued an appearance citation for furnishing alcohol to minors in\u00a0connection with the matter. 1\/2 Officers received a complaint regarding some juvenile boys disrupting a residence by\u00a0knocking on the door and running off. Officers spoke with the boys and found it to be a\u00a0misunderstanding between friends. 1\/3 Officers were dispatched to perform a well-being check on a 55-year-old female who\u00a0had not been answering her phone for three days. Officers located the individual and found she had\u00a0an outstanding warrant out of another jurisdiction. She was then placed under arrest, transported\u00a0and lodged in the Osceola County Jail to await pickup. While on patrol at a local apartment complex, officers observed a vehicle in violation of City\u00a0Ordinance code #1284.13. This ordinance is regarding the storage of inoperable or unregistered\u00a0vehicles. It is prohibited unless confined within an enclosed structure. An abatement notice was\u00a0served. Officers were dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff's Department. Officers were\u00a0requested to locate an individual who had fled the scene. The subject was located and\u00a0transported back to the scene. Officers stood by to assist with scene security while OCSD\u00a0completed their investigation.
