Officers were called to a residence for a well-being check on a possible suicidal subject. Officers arrived on scene to find that the subject did ingest a large quantity of pills. The subject was taken into protective custody and transported to the hospital by EMS for treatment.

Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff's Department in doing a warrant attempt at a residence in the city.

Officers responded to an apartment complex for a report of a hit-and run-accident that occurred in the parking lot of the complex. The driver of the second vehicle has been identified and the matter is under further investigation.

Officers were called to a residence for a domestic disturbance. Through investigation it was determined that the male subject had assaulted his girlfriend. The male subject was arrested for domestic violence and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Officers on patrol observed a loud disturbance at a residence on Slosson Avenue. Officers made contact with the subjects who were having a disagreement and warnings were issued.

Officers were called to the high school for a larceny complaint. The victim reported a set of headphones stolen from her locker. A suspect has been identified and the matter is under further investigation.

Officers responded to an apartment complex for a suspicious situation complaint. The complainant reported that someone had loosened her lug nuts on her vehicle. A report was completed.

Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle on a suspended license and was also in violation of his parole conditions. The subject was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Officers were called to an apartment complex for a smell of marijuana. Officers were not able to make contact with the tenant.

Officers assisted a stranded motorist on South Chestnut Street who was lost.

Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle without insurance. The driver was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Officers investigated a suspicious situation at an apartment complex. A subject left a vehicle running with a child inside and unattended for an extended period of time. Officers located the driver of the vehicle who did not have a valid license. The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail. The case is under review of Child Protective Services.

Officers were called to a residence on North Higbee Street for a 9-1-1 hang-up call. Officers arrived on scene to find that everything was OK, a child was playing with the phone.

Officers responded to a residence on West Todd Avenue for a landlord/tenant dispute. The parties were advised that it was a civil matter and were provided with a course of action.

Officers were called to the motel for a report of a suicidal subject armed with a knife who had cut himself. Officers arrived on scene to find the subject had barricaded himself in the room. Officers forced entry into the room and after much negotiating the subject finally dropped the knife and was taken into custody. The subject was transported to the hospital for superficial self inflicted injuries and for a mental evaluation.

Officers transported a mental subject to Pine Rest in Grand Rapids on a court order for hospitalization. The transport was completed without incident.

Officers were called to the hospital to investigate child abuse complaint. The complaint is under further investigation.
