Reed City 08\/25 Officers were dispatched to a vacant residence for a breaking and entering complaint.Two juvenile children broke into the residence and stole a couple of items. The juveniles have been\u00a0identified and the matter has been forwarded to Probate Court. Officers responded to a business to inspect suspected counterfeit bills. The bills were found to be\u00a0real. Officers were called to an apartment complex for a possible PPO violation. The complainant\u00a0reported that she was receiving messages through social media from a subject she had a PPO\u00a0against. A report was completed and forwarded to Circuit Court for review. Officers located a subject in Rambadt Park after hours. The subject was given a warning and\u00a0advised to leave the park. 08\/26 Officers were requested by a doctor to attempt to locate one of his patients and check\u00a0their well being. Officers checked the residence and were not able to locate the subject. Officers located a subject at the courthouse that had two outstanding warrants for probation\u00a0violation out of the Mecosta County Sheriff\u2019s Department. The subject was arrested and lodged in\u00a0the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers responded to a business for an alarm. Upon arrival the building was determined to be\u00a0secure and the alarm was unfounded. Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was determined that the driver was operating the\u00a0vehicle without insurance and was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.\u00a0A passenger in the vehicle had an outstanding warrant out of Charlevoix for neglected child. The\u00a0passenger was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. 08\/27 Officers participated in the Emergency Management mock disaster exercise. Officers were called to West Todd Avenue for a neighbor dispute. Officers talked to all parties involved\u00a0and warnings were issued. Officers were called to the GT Norman Elementary School playground for a juvenile complaint. It was\u00a0reported that four older children were harassing younger kids. Officers talked to all parties involved\u00a0and warnings were issued. The parents were notified. Officers responded to the motel for a possible overdose. It was determined that the subject had\u00a0ingested numerous pills and EMS was called to the scene. The subject was transported to the\u00a0hospital for treatment. Officers located a juvenile sitting at a picnic table at a business. The juvenile was in violation of\u00a0curfew and was returned home with a warning. The juvenile\u2019s mother was notified. 08\/28 Officers were called for a larceny of a bike complaint. The subject who was missing\u00a0his bike had located it. It was determined that the stolen bike was sold to another subject. The bike\u00a0was returned to its rightful owner. A report was completed. Officers served a subject with a no trespass order for a business and the subject was escorted off the\u00a0property. The subject later returned and was arrested for trespassing and was lodged in the Osceola\u00a0County Jail without incident. Officers were requested to do a well-being check on a subject. The complainant reported that he\u00a0could not get a hold of his girlfriend. Officers located the subject who was fine and her phone was\u00a0not working due to cell phone towers being down. Officers on patrol located three juvenile subjects walking in violation of curfew. The subjects were\u00a0given a warning and returned home. The parents were notified. 08\/29 Officers were called to West Lincoln Avenue for a mental subject who was paranoid and\u00a0out of control. Officers made contact with the subject and took him into protective custody and\u00a0transported him to the hospital for an evaluation. It was later determined that the subject needed\u00a0to be committed to a mental facility on a court order, officers transported the subject to a mental\u00a0facility in Grand Rapids for treatment. Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle in Westerburg Park. Officers made a traffic stop on two separate vehicles at the same time. It was determined that the\u00a0driver of one of the vehicles was operating without insurance and was arrested. The driver of the\u00a0second vehicle was arrested for driving without a driver\u2019s license. Both subjects were lodged in the\u00a0Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Department on a personal injury accident at 11 Mile\u00a0Road near 80th Avenue.\u00a0Once the scene was secure the officers resumed normal patrol duties within the city. 08\/30 Officers responded to a business for a possible breaking and entering in progress. The\u00a0complainant reported seeing lights on at a closed business and heard banging. The business was\u00a0checked and found to be secure. The complaint was unfounded. Officers were called to a business for an alarm. Upon arrival the building was found to be secure\u00a0and the alarm was unfounded. Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Department on a traffic stop on U.S. 10 near East\u00a0Church Street. Officers responded to a business to speak with a subject. It was determined that the subject was\u00a0suffering from mental issues and was transported to the hospital to be evaluated. 08\/31 Officers investigated an abandoned vehicle on Davenport Street. Officers performed a motorist assist on U.S. 10 at North Roth Street. Officers were requested to a residence for a well being check on a subject. Officers knocked on\u00a0the door and got no answer. Officers made entry into the residence and found the subject deceased\u00a0in the bathroom. The Osceola County Medical Examiner was called to the scene and the death\u00a0appears to be natural and as a part of medical complications. Officers were called to a residence for a noise complaint. The subjects were given a warning.
