Reed City 07\/28 Officers handled a walk-in complaint regarding a civil matter about a child custody\u00a0dispute. The subject was provided with a course of action. Officers were requested to do an area check at a business outside of the city for a possible\u00a0intoxicated driver. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the vehicle. Officers responded to an apartment complex for a reported trespassing complaint. It was\u00a0determined that the subject was there to pick up his children and was not trespassing. The complaint\u00a0was determined to be a civil matter and the parties were provided with a course of action. Officers assisted the Michigan State Police on a traffic stop on U.S. 131. Officers were called to a residence for an attempted suicide. It was reported that the subject had\u00a0taken numerous pills. EMS responded to the scene and took over caring for the subject. 07\/29 Officers responded to South Roth Street for a barking dog complaint. The owner of the dog\u00a0was located and given a warning. Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating the\u00a0vehicle while intoxicated. The driver was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without\u00a0incident. 07\/30 Officers handled a complaint regarding possible drug activity. The matter is being\u00a0investigated further. Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver had an\u00a0outstanding warrant out of the Lake County Sheriff\u2019s Office. The subject was arrested and lodged\u00a0in the Osceola County Jail without incident. 07\/31 Officers were called to a residence for a harassment complaint between two neighbors.\u00a0Both parties were provided with a course of action. Officers responded to the Courthouse Annex for a witness intimidation complaint. Officers arrived\u00a0on scene and spoke with the parties involved. The matter is under further investigation. Officers were called to a residence for a possible domestic disturbance. Officers arrived on scene\u00a0to find that it was a verbal dispute only. The male subject had two outstanding warrants out of River\u00a0Rogue, however they would not pickup and the subject was released. Officers responded to a residence on West Todd Avenue for a report of a dog being attacked by another\u00a0dog. A report was completed and the matter is under further investigation. Officers issued a grass abatement to a property owner in the city. The owner has the allotted time to\u00a0correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken. Officers were called to the hospital for a report of disorderly subjects in the lobby. Officers arrived\u00a0and spoke with the parties and verbal warnings were issued. Officers on patrol heard a dog barking on West Todd Avenue The owner of the dog was located and\u00a0given a warning. 08\/01 Officers were called to West Slosson Avenue for a barking dog complaint. The complaint\u00a0was unfounded. Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Office with obtaining a blood draw from a subject. Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Office with a vehicle pursuit on Old U.S. 131. The\u00a0pursuit ended near 7 Mile Road. Officers stood by until the scene was secure and then resumed\u00a0normal patrol duties within the city. 08\/02 Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was\u00a0a minor and in possession of alcohol and suspected marijuana. An appearance citation was issued\u00a0to the subject and he was released from the scene. Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating the\u00a0vehicle while intoxicated and in violation of his probation conditions. The driver was arrested and\u00a0lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident. 08\/0 Officers were called to the parking lot of a business for a private property damage\u00a0accident. Upon arrival the driver of one of the vehicles had fled the scene. It was determined that\u00a0the driver that fled had multiple warrants for his arrest as well as being on probation and having\u00a0a suspended license. The driver has been identified and the report has been submitted to the\u00a0Prosecutor\u2019s Office seeking an arrest warrant for multiple charges on the suspect. Officers on patrol located an open door at a business in the city. The building was checked and\u00a0found to be secure. Osceola County Sheriff 7-27 Deputies were dispatched to a Hartwick Township home on the report of a active entry alarm complaint. Upon arrival the residence was checked and everything was found to be secured. A sergeant was asked to respond to a Richmond Township business, as an employee was terminated, was refusing to leave and was being combative. Upon arrival the sergeant secured the scene, and after a short conversation the employee left the area without incident. 7-28 Deputies investigated two vehicle crashes, which occurred within Richmond and Osceola Townships. A deputy was dispatched to a Lincoln Township home on the report of a larceny of a snowmobile complaint. Through investigation it was discovered that someone took the complainant\u2019s 1979 Yamaha snowmobile, while the complainant was out of town. The deputy completed his investigation and cleared the scene once his assistance was no longer needed. 7-29 Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, within Highland Township for a speeding infraction. Through investigation it was discovered that said operator was driving their vehicle without valid insurance. At that time the operator was issued a misdemeanor citation for said offence, and was released from the scene; however the vehicle was towed. Deputies were dispatched to Highland Township on the report of a disorderly juvenile who had left his residence without permission. Upon arrival the deputies patrolled the area, and through investigation located said juvenile. At that time the juvenile was reunited with their parents; however this report has been forwarded to the Probate Court for review. 7-30 Deputies responded to a residence, within Burdell Township, and arrested a subject on the strength of a valid Lake County warrant. The subject was secured and turned over to Lake County authorities. A deputy responded to a Sylvan Township business on the report of a larceny complaint. Through investigation it was discovered that someone operating a silver Buick passenger vehicle pumped $39.99 in fuel and left without paying. The deputy completed his investigation and cleared the scene without incident. 7-31 Deputies investigated two vehicle crashes, and one crash with injuries. Incidents occurred within Leroy, Burdell and Sylvan Townships. A sergeant was dispatched to Middle Branch Township on the report of a turfing complaint. Through investigation it was discovered that a mid 90\u2019s dark colored Jeep intentionally drove across the complaint\u2019s yard, which caused damage. The sergeant completed his investigation and cleared the scene without incident. 8-1 Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, within Middle Branch Township, for driving recklessly. Through investigation it was discovered that said operator was driving said vehicle while under the influence of drugs and without insurance. At that time the operator was arrested and was transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident. Deputies investigated two vehicle crashes, which occurred within Richmond and Highland Townships. 8-2 Deputies investigated one vehicle crash and one crash with injuries. Incidents occurred within Burdell Township.
