Reed City 06\/02 Officers were called to a business on North Higbee Street for a report of a breaking and\u00a0entering that occurred the night before. Officers investigated the scene and the matter remains\u00a0open. Officers responded to a business for an alarm. Upon arrival it was determined that an employee had\u00a0set off the alarm and everything was OK. Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver had an\u00a0outstanding warrant out of Montcalm County and was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County\u00a0Jail without incident. Officers received information that a wanted subject was hiding inside of a residence. Officers\u00a0located the subject who was taken into custody on a felony warrant for dangerous drugs and was\u00a0lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers responded to Morse Street for a report of a suspicious person standing by the road. Officers\u00a0checked the area and the subject was not located. 06\/03 Officers were called to West Lincoln Avenue for a civil complaint. The complainant was\u00a0trying to repo a car and the lessee was inside of the vehicle refusing to get out. Officers talked with\u00a0the subjects and provided a course of action and the matter was resolved. Officers handled a traffic complaint on West Lincoln Avenue The complainant reported a speeding\u00a0dump truck driving down the road. The matter is under further investigation. Officers assisted Child Protective Services doing a home inspection. Officers received information that there were drugs inside of an apartment. Officers responded to\u00a0the apartment and made contact with the subject who gave consent to search. Numerous drugs were\u00a0seized and the subject was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers were dispatched to a business for an open door. The building was checked and found to be\u00a0secure. The property owner was notified. 06\/04 Officers responded to a residence for a civil complaint between two tenants. Officers\u00a0provided a course of action. Officers were dispatched to a residence for a 9-1-1 hang up call. Officers checked the residence and\u00a0found that a verbal argument had occurred. No crime had been committed. 06\/05 Officers were contacted due to a child missing from a school function. After much\u00a0investigation it was determined that the mother of the child had picked the child up from the field\u00a0trip and failed to advise school staff. The child was safe and with his mother and the matter was\u00a0closed. Officers were called to an apartment complex for a report of a subject trespassing in an apartment.\u00a0The subject was located and arrested on an outstanding warrant and was also served with a no\u00a0trespass notice for the complex. The subject was lodged in the Osceola County Jail without\u00a0incident. Officers responded to South Higbee Street for a man down in the road. Officers arrived on scene and\u00a0found that the subject was highly intoxicated. EMS was called to the scene and the subject was\u00a0transported to the hospital for medical treatment. 06\/06 Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Department in locating a runaway from\u00a0Eagle Village. It was determined that the juvenile had not runaway and was at a school function. Officers did a well being check for a possibly injured person on the North Chestnut Street bridge. Officers\u00a0checked the subject and determined that everything was OK. 06\/07 Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Department with a breaking and\u00a0entering at a residence on 9 Mile Road. Once the scene was secure the officer resumed normal patrol\u00a0duties within the city. Officers responded to a residence inside the city for follow-up on the breaking and entering on\u00a09 Mile Road. Officers located and seized evidence. Numerous subjects were interviewed and the\u00a0matter is under further investigation. 06\/08 Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Department in conducting follow-up\u00a0interviews at an apartment complex in the city relating to the breaking and entering complaint on 9\u00a0Mile Road. Osceola County Sheriff 6-01 Deputies were dispatched to a Highland Township home on the report of an assault and battery complaint. Upon arrival, the deputies secured the scene, and through investigation determined that an assault did occur between two subjects living together. The parties were separated, three firearms were taken for safe keeping, and the deputies cleared the scene once their assistance was no longer needed. This case has been forwarded to the Prosecutor\u2019s Office for review. A deputy responded to a location within Lincoln Township, and arrested a subject for violating the conditions of their parole. The subject was secured and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident. 6-02 Deputies were dispatched to a Marion Township residence on the report of a domestic assault complaint, where the offender had left the scene in a vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputies secured the scene, and through investigation determined that an assault did occur between two subjects involved in a domestic relationship. The deputies then cleared the scene, once their assistance was no longer needed, and located said offender and vehicle near the scene. A traffic stop was conducted, and it was discovered that the offender was driving on a suspended driver\u2019s license in addition to the assault complaint. At that time the offender was arrested and was transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident. Deputies investigated two vehicle crashes, which occurred within Highland and Richmond Townships. 6-03 Deputies assisted Child Protective Services workers at a residence in Lincoln Township. Through the deputies investigation it was discovered that the residence contained several occupants, and the occupants were in possession of suspected marijuana. The Deputies confiscated a large amount of suspected marijuana, and arrested one subject for a valid warrant, which was issued out of Ingham County. This case has been forwarded to the Prosecutor\u2019s Office for charges. Deputies conducted a court ordered mental transport from Reed City Spectrum Health to a Midland County Mental Hospital. The transport was completed without incident, and the deputies returned to the county upon completion. 6-04 Deputies investigated three vehicle crashes, which occurred within Leroy, Middle Branch and Sylvan Townships. Deputies were dispatched to a residence within Hersey Township on the report of a domestic assault complaint. Upon arrival the scene was secured, and through investigation it was determined that an assault did occur between two subjects involved in a domestic relationship. Also, it was discovered that the occupants of the home were in possession of a large amount of suspected marijuana. The aggressor for the assault complaint was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail, while the Traverse Narcotics Team assisted with the processing and investigation of the suspected marijuana. This case has been forwarded to the Prosecutor\u2019s Office for charges. 6-05 Deputies were dispatched to a Burdell Township home on the report of a disorderly subject. Upon arrival, the deputies secured the scene and discovered that the disorderly subject had three valid Osceola County warrants issued for their arrest, and was also in violation of the conditions of their probation. At that time said subject was arrested and was transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident. Deputies were dispatched to a Marion business on the report of a suspicious vehicle being parked within their parking lot. Upon arrival, the deputies patrolled the area and eventually located the vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver\u2019s alibi and credentials were verified. The Deputies then cleared the scene once it was discovered that nothing criminal was discovered. 6-06 Deputies investigated three vehicle crashes, which occurred within Rose Lake, Hersey and Lincoln Townships. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, within Middle Branch Township. Through investigation it was discovered that the operator was driving the vehicle without insurance. At that time the vehicle was towed from the scene, and the operator was issued a misdemeanor citation for said offence. 6-07 A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within the Village of Leroy for a speeding infraction. Through investigation it was discovered that the operator was driving their vehicle while intoxicated, and had three valid warrants issued for their arrest. At that time the operator was arrested and was transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident. Deputies were dispatched to a Marion home on the report of a check-well being complaint. Upon arrival, the deputies confirmed that the subject in question was not harm to themselves or others. The deputies then arrest said subject for a valid Osceola County warrant. The subject was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.
