Reed City 05\/26 Officers responded to an apartment complex for a possible trespassing complaint.\u00a0Upon arrival, it was determined that the subject was not trespassing and the complaint was\u00a0unfounded. Officers were called to a business for an open door complaint. Upon arrival, the door was secured\u00a0and no further action was needed. 05\/27 Officers responded to the school for a disorderly student. Officers were able to assist\u00a0in getting the student calmed down until his parents arrived to take him home. The matter has been\u00a0turned over to Probate Court for action. Officers assisted with a large funeral escort through the city. Officers were called for a well-being check on a subject. The caller reported that she had not heard\u00a0from the subject all weekend. Officers located the subject and everything was OK. Officers picked a subject up at the Isabella County Jail on an outstanding warrant for disorderly\u00a0conduct. The subject was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers responded to an apartment complex for a noise complaint. Upon arrival, no noise was\u00a0heard and the complaint was unfounded. 05\/28 Officers were called to the hospital for a larceny complaint. It was determined that the\u00a0missing item was misplaced by the complainant. A report was completed. The suspect who fled the scene has been identified and the matter\u00a0is under further investigation. 05\/29 Officers were called to a business for an alarm. The alarm was determined to be false\u00a0and was accidentally activated by employees. Officers handled a found property complaint at the department. The complainant found a bicycle\u00a0on Rails to Trails. The bike was placed in found property until claimed by the owner. Officers handled a bad check complaint at a business in the city. The matter is under investigation. Officers issued multiple abatement notices to property owners in the city. The owners have the\u00a0allotted time to correct the violations or further enforcement action will be taken. 05\/30 Officers responded to a residence on South Chestnut Street for a civil dispute over property.\u00a0Officers talked to the parties involved and provided a course of action that resolved the issue. Officers located a subject at a residence in Reed City that had an outstanding warrant for contempt\u00a0of court. The subject was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating\u00a0the vehicle on a suspended license and also had an outstanding warrant out of the Lake County\u00a0Sheriff\u2019s Department. The subject was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without\u00a0incident. Officers responded to a residence for a possible domestic disturbance. Officers arrived on scene\u00a0and spoke with the parties involved. One of the subjects was arrested on an outstanding warrant out\u00a0of the Mecosta County Sheriff\u2019s Department. The matter has been turned over to the Prosecutor\u2019s\u00a0Office seeking arrest warrants for domestic. Officers on patrol located a subject at a vacant house in the city. Officers made contact with the\u00a0subject and were able to determine that the subject was the caretaker for the property while the\u00a0owner was in prison. Officers were called to a business for an alarm. Upon arrival, the building was found to be secure\u00a0and the alarm was false. Officers responded to Alley 7 for a hit and run accident. There were no injuries and only minor\u00a0damage. Possible suspects have been identified. The matter is under further investigation. Officers were called to a bar for a larceny of cell phone complaint. It was determined that friend\u2019s\u00a0of the complainant had taken the phone because they thought the complainant left, leaving the\u00a0phone behind. The complaint was resolved. Officers responded to a residence on East Lincoln Avenue for a noise complaint. Contact was made with\u00a0the tenants and a warning was issued. 05\/31 Officers were called to Linear Park for a report of a subject camping in the park.\u00a0Officers made contact with the subject who was given a warning for camping in a non-camping\u00a0area. Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was determined that the driver was driving\u00a0the vehicle on a suspended license and with an improper license plate. The subject was also in\u00a0violation of his parole conditions. The subject was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail\u00a0without incident. Officers were called for a well-being check. The complainant reported that she could not get in\u00a0touch with her son who was with his father. Officers checked the residence and determined that\u00a0everything was OK. Officers responded to an apartment complex for a report of disorderly subjects. Upon arrival it\u00a0was determined that a fight had occurred between intoxicated subjects at a party. While trying to\u00a0investigate the matter, another subject became disorderly and was interfering with the investigation\u00a0and was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail. The matter is under further investigation. 06\/01 Officers were called to an apartment complex for a reported assault between two\u00a0juveniles. A report was completed and forwarded to Probate Court for review. Officers were called back to the apartment complex for a report of adults fighting in the parking lot\u00a0over the previous situation involving their children. One of which was armed with a knife. Upon\u00a0arrival, one of the subjects was arrested for felonious assault for threatening subjects with a knife\u00a0and was lodged at the Osceola County Jail. The complaint remains under investigation.
