Officers responded to a two-vehicle private property damage accident in the parking lot of a business. There were no injuries and only minor damage. A report was completed.

Officers were called to a business for an alarm. Upon arrival the building was checked and found to be secure. The property owner was notified.

Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department in attempting to locate a juvenile who did not return home. Officers checked the residences and were not able to locate the juvenile.

Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was intoxicated and was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Officers handled a walk-in private property damage accident that occurred yesterday in the parking lot of a business. There were no injuries reported. A report was completed.

Officers were called to an apartment complex for a report of a female yelling and screaming that she was going to kill someone. Officers made contact with the subject who was suffering from mental illness. Officers took the subject in custody and transported her to the hospital for a mental evaluation. Later in the night officers transported the subject to a mental hospital on a court order.

Officers responded to a business for an alarm. Upon arrival officers found the cleaning crew inside the building and everything was OK.

Officers were called to Chestnut Street at Upton Avenue for a two-vehicle traffic crash. There were no injuries and only minor damage. A report was competed.

Officers responded to Coyote Trail for a vehicle that had slid off the roadway. A wrecker was called to the scene to remove the vehicle.

Officers were called to City Parking Lot A for a two vehicle private property damage accident. There were no injuries and only minor damage. A report was completed.

Officers responded to a residence for a threats complaint. The complainant was receiving harassing and threatening text messages from a family member. Officers made contact with the suspect who was advised to have no further contact with the complainant or the matter would be submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office.

Officers transported a student who was suffering from mental illness to the Community Mental Health Office to be seen.

Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle without vehicle insurance. The driver was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Officers were requested to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department on an alarm at a business just outside the city. Officers arrived on scene and found that the cleaning crew that was leaving had accidentally set the alarm off.

Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating on a suspended license and was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Officers assisted a subject in placing a stray dog in the animal shelter.

Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was intoxicated and was arrested. Officers found that the subject was also in possession of suspected marijuana. The subject was lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a car accident near 190th Avenue and 1 Mile Road. Once the scene was secure the officer resumed normal patrol duties within the city.

Officers assisted the Evart Public Schools conduct lockdown drills. The officers evaluated the performance of the students and staff, and discussed the results of the evaluations with the principals.

An officer was dispatched to a residence for a domestic assault. The officer investigated the complaint and arrested one of the subjects involved. That subject was transported to the Osceola County Sheriff Department and lodged.

An officer was dispatched to assist a Children’s Protective Service worker on a home visit. The officer stood by with the CPS worker while he conducted his investigation.

An officer was dispatched to a residence to investigate a malicious destruction of property complaint. The investigation revealed that a domestic assault had occurred earlier in the day and the suspect had fled the scene. The matter has been turned over to the prosecutor’s office and the department of probation/parole.
