Officers responded to an apartment complex for a report of malicious damage to a vehicle. The complainant reported that her tires were flat. A suspect has been identified and the matter is under the review of the Prosecutor’s Office.

Officers handled a walk in threats complaint against three family members over property. A report was completed and the complainant was advised how to obtain a personal protection order.

Officers responded to an apartment complex for an assault complaint involving two juveniles. A report was completed and the matter is being forwarded to Probate Court for action.

Officers were called to a trailer park for a report of a larceny. The complainant reported that the hitch to his trailer was stolen. A report was completed and the matter is under further investigation.


Officers responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash in the parking lot of a church. There were no injuries and only minor damage. A report was completed.

Officers spoke with a disorderly student at the School. The matter has been resolved.


Officers were called to U.S. 10 near Old U.S. 131 for a man lying in the road. Officers checked the area and the subject was not located.


Officers responded to North Chestnut Street for a car/deer accident. There was minor damage to the vehicle. A report was completed.

Officers were requested to transport a student home that was being suspended from school.

Officers investigated a complaint of students being in possession of marijuana at school. Marijuana was located and seized and the students involved have been identified. The matter remains under investigation.

Officers were called to the creek behind Young’s Trailer Court for a report of small children in the creek. Officers checked the area and made contact with the parents of the children.

Officers responded to a residence for a domestic assault complaint. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with all parties. A report has been submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office for review.

Officers were called to a business for an alarm. Upon arrival it was determined that the cleaning crew accidentally tripped the alarm and everything was OK.


Officers responded to a bar in the city for a report of a customer pulling out a knife and showing patrons. Officers located the subject and the knife was seized. The matter has been turned over to the Prosecutor’s Office for review.

Officers served a No Trespass Notice on a subject and then escorted him off the property of the apartment complex.


Officers responded to Maplewood Drive for a dog violations complaint. The owner of the dog was located and given a warning.
