Evart 11\/04 An officer received a fail to return rental property complaint. The renter was contacted and advised to return the property or criminal charges would be requested. The property was returned shortly after the contact. 11\/05 An officer was dispatched to a domestic violence complaint. The officer investigated the incident which resulted in both parties being arrested. An officer was dispatched to an animal complaint. A fox was acting suspiciously around a residential area. The officer stood by until the Osceola County Animal Control Officer arrived on scene. Attempts were made to catch the fox but it fled the area. An officer was dispatched to a civil complaint. The officer advised both parties how to best resolve their differences. An officer was dispatched to a suspicious situation. A door to a vacant residence was found open. Nobody was located in the residence and the residence was secured. 11\/06 An officer was dispatched to a retail fraud and assault complaint. Upon arrival the officer spoke with the complainant and the victim who advised the suspect had fled the area. The victim was treated for injuries sustained in the assault. The officer attempted to locate the suspect without success. The complaint has been forwarded to the Osceola County Prosecuting Attorney for criminal charges. An officer was dispatched to a residence to assist the medical examiner investigate a death. An officer was dispatched to a well being check. The officer determined the individual was suicidal and needed treatment. The subject was transported to the Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital emergency room. An officer received a malicious destruction of property complaint. A vehicle had driven through a residential yard leaving impressions in the grass. 11\/07 An officer was dispatched to assist Children\u2019s Protective Services with an investigation. 11\/08 An officer was dispatched to assist Children\u2019s Protective Services with an investigation. An officer received a malicious destruction of property complaint. A subject was observed damaging a fence. The officer searched the area but was unable to locate the subject. The complaint is still under investigation. An officer was dispatched to a well being check. The officer made contact with the subject, and after a brief struggle, took the subject into protective custody. The subject was taken to the Spectrum Health Reed City emergency room for treatment. The subject was cleared by medical staff, and then lodged at the Osceola County Sheriff Department on, Assault causing injury to an officer, charges. \u00a0Reed City 11\/04 Officers investigated an abandoned vehicle. Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation while patrolling the school zones. It was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle without insurance. Officers also found the driver to be illegally transporting medical marijuana. The driver was arrested for operating without insurance and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. Additional charges are pending. Officers issued a vehicle abatement to a vehicle owner for having an unregistered vehicle parked on the property. The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken. 11\/05 Officers were dispatched to an abandoned building for a suspicious situation. The maintenance worker had found the door unlocked and beer cans inside of one of the rooms. The building was secured and the matter is under further investigation. Officers located a subject that had an outstanding warrant for criminal sexual conduct third degree. The subject was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers handled two separate car\/deer accidents. There were no injuries to either of the drivers. 11\/06 Officers responded to South Chestnut Street near Self Serve Lumber for a car\/deer accident. There were no injuries to the occupant of the vehicle. A report was completed. Officers located a subject at his residence that had two outstanding warrants for his arrest for contempt of court. The subject was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident. 11\/07 Officers handled a two vehicle traffic crash that occurred on West Upton Avenue at Chestnut Street. There were no injuries and only minor damage. A report was completed. Officers assisted Child Protective Services with a home inspection. The complainant stated that the father of the children was abusive. The residence was checked and the parties were interviewed and the complaint was determined to be false. 11\/08 Officers talked to three children that were walking and obstructing traffic. The children were given a warning. Officers assisted a stranded student in finding a ride home from the football game. 11\/09 Officers on patrol located an open door at a business while doing property checks. The building was searched and found to be secure. The property owner was contacted. Officers were called to a residence for a fight in progress involving knifes. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the parties involved who advised that it was an argument only and no assaulthad occurred. Verbal warnings were given to the intoxicated subjects. 11\/10 Officers responded to a residence for a threats complaint. Upon talking with the complainant it was determined to be a civil matter. The complainant was provided with a course of action. Officers were called to a residence for a harassment complaint. The complaint was unfounded. Officers on patrol located a subject that had an outstanding warrant for unlawful entry. The subject was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.
