Officers assisted school officials in transporting a sick student home.

Officers handled a threats complaint between two students. The students were talked to and warned about their conduct and their parents were notified about the matter.

Officers were called to a residence for a civil matter regarding possession of a TV. Officers talked to both parties involved and advised them that it was a civil matter and provided them with a course of action.

Officers assisted school officials in doing a routine K9 search of the campus.

Officers responded to a residence for a possible identity theft complaint. The complainant advised that someone opened a charge account with his name and made multiple charges to the account. The matter is under investigation.

Officers were called to a residence for a civil complaint. The complainant advised that her husband was trying to make her move out of the house. Both parties were provided with a course of action.

Officers attempted to locate a subject at a residence in Reed City for the Lake County Sheriff’s Department. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

Officers responded to a business for a found wallet complaint. The owner of the wallet was located and the wallet was returned.

Officers were called to a residence for a complaint of someone burning leaves. Officers checked the area and the complaint was unfounded.

Officers responded to an apartment complex for a 9-1-1 hang up call. Officers located the subject in the parking lot who had accidentally dialed 9-1-1 while his phone was in his pocket.

Officers were called to a two vehicle traffic crash on East Church Street at U.S. 10. There were no injuries and only minor damage. A report was completed.

Officers responded to an alarm at a business. The building was checked and found to be secure. The property owner was notified.

Officers were called to the bus garage for a complaint of a student smoking on the bus. The matter is under investigation.

Officers made contact with two students at the school in regards to bullying. The students were warned about their behavior.

Officers were called to West Upton Avenue for a report of a suspicious person walking in the road in the rain. Officers made contact with the subject who had just been released from the hospital from having a mental evaluation. Officers transported the subject home without incident.

Officers responded to a residence for a larceny complaint. The complainant was highly intoxicated and was advised to call back to file the complaint when he was sober.

Officers on patrol located a vehicle in the city cemetery after hours. Contact was made with the occupants who were given a warning and escorted off the property without incident.

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle refused to stop and continued to a residence and pulled into the garage. Officers made contact with the driver who was highly intoxicated. The driver was arrested for fleeing and eluding; operating while intoxicated second offense and transporting an open container of alcohol and was lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers were assisted at the scene by Deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department.

Officers were called to a residence for a breaking and entering complaint. The called stated he was told by a neighbor that there were people in his house and that he was out of town. Officers made contact with the three subjects inside the house who were arrested for breaking and entering and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers were assisted at the scene by Deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department.

Officers issued a trash abatement to a property owner that had trash left at the road. The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken.

Officers were called to a residence for a suspicious mail complaint. The complainant was provided with a course of action.

Officers issued a property owner a vehicle abatement for having a dismantled vehicle on the property. The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken.

Officers were called to a foreclosed residence for a suspicious situation. The caller reported seeing lights on in the vacant home. Officers checked the residence and determined that a contractor had been inside the home winterizing it.

Officers on patrol located a vehicle that was driving erratically. Officers stopped the driver who was very confused. A breath test was given to the driver with a result of .000 percent. It was determined that the driver was diabetic and may have been having medical issues. EMS was called to the scene and transported the subject to the hospital to be treated.

Officers were called to an apartment complex for a foul smell. Officers checked the building and could not locate a foul smell.

Officers were called to a business for an unlawful entry complaint. The complainant reported that he had parked his camper that was posted for sale in the parking lot of the business and someone had broken into it and had been living in it. The suspect has been identified and the matter is under investigation.

Officers responded to North Patterson Road for a car/deer traffic crash. There were no injuries to the occupants of the vehicle and only minor damage. A report was completed.
