Reed City 12\/21 Officers were requested to be present at a local business while a meeting took place. The\u00a0employees felt the female in question was likely to have some mental health issues and had previously\u00a0been in causing a disturbance. No problems were noted at that time. 12\/22 While performing a traffic stop for speeding, officers found the 32-year-old male driver to\u00a0have an open container of liquor. An appearance citation was issued to for transporting open intoxicant and speeding. Officers were requested to a local residence to assist a suicidal individual. Officers transported the\u00a0individual to the Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital emergency room where they signed in voluntarily for a\u00a0mental health evaluation. Officers were dispatched to local apartment complex regarding a group of children making a lot of\u00a0noise outside after 11 p.m. Upon the officer's arrival there was no one around. Officers were dispatched to a local residence for a death investigation. The death was ruled to be\u00a0natural causes. 12\/23 Officers were called by an out-of-state family member to perform a well-being check at a\u00a0local residence for possible carbon monoxide poisoning. Upon the officer's arrival, the mater had\u00a0already been handled and the home had been checked by the Reed City Fire Department and DTE Energy. Officers were dispatched to\u00a0Spectrum Health\u00a0Reed City Hospital regarding a missing item belonging\u00a0to one of the patients. The matter is under investigation. Officers were dispatched to local apartment complex regarding a possible domestic assault in progress.\u00a0The female showed no signs of physical injury and denied medical attention. The male agreed to stay\u00a0over night elsewhere to allow time for things to calm down. The matter has been turned over to the\u00a0prosecuting attorney\u2019s office for review. Officers were dispatched to local residence to respond to a 911 hang up call. All was well; the phone\u00a0belonged to a grandchild in the home. Case closed. Officers were dispatched to respond to an alarm activation. It appeared a power surge may have\u00a0activated the alarm. Case closed. Officers observed a 35-year-old male who had an outstanding warrant from Ferris State University\u00a0Public Safety. The individual was taken into custody, transported and turned over to the FSUPD\u00a0without incident. 12\/26 Officers arrested a 24-year-old male who had a criminal bench for contempt out of the\u00a0Reed City 77th District Court. He was transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers located a 31-year-old female and arrested her on an outstanding warrant for driving with no\u00a0insurance and having a suspended license. 12\/27 Officers observed a 19-year-old male in a parking lot who was known to have several\u00a0outstanding warrants. The individual was placed under arrest and transported to the Osceola County\u00a0Jail where he was lodged without incident. Officers were dispatched to local a residence regarding a neighbor observing a suspicious situation\u00a0next door. The neighbor believed the homeowners were out of town and observed someone getting\u00a0into their camper. The responding officers found the homeowners were winterizing their camper. Officers were requested to assist with scene security while the Michigan State Police Department\u00a0performed a vehicle search.
