Reed City 12\/14 Officers received a report of Identity theft. The matter is under investigation. 12\/15 Officers were dispatched to local residence after Mecosta County Central\u00a0Dispatch received a 911 call that had been disconnected before getting any information.\u00a0While in route, MCCD cancelled the call after find out a child had been playing with a\u00a0phone. Officers were dispatched to respond to a noise complaint at a local trailer park. The\u00a0officers found the residence to be in violation of City of Reed City ordinance No. 652.04(o).\u00a0A ticket for amplified music from a residence was issued. Officers responded to an alarm activation at a local business. It was found to be a false\u00a0alarm, the building was found to be secure. 12\/16 Officers responded once again to an alarm activation at a local business. It\u00a0was found to be a false alarm. The keyholder was requested to respond to the scene and\u00a0assist with investigating the cause. The problem was located and the keyholder will\u00a0pass the information on to corporate to have the matter resolved. Officers were called to local residence regarding neighborhood children harassing the\u00a0neighbors by pounding and knocking on windows and doors. The officer spoke with\u00a0the parents of the delinquent minors and found they were having problems with\u00a0disciplining the children in the home. The officer suggested the parents call the\u00a0police for help when their children are non-compliant and added that they would not be\u00a0sanctioned by law enforcement for disciplining the children. Officers were called to assist Child Protective Services at a local residence. Officers were dispatched to respond to a car\/deer accident. No injuries were reported. Officers received a call regarding door-to-door sales man. Officers were unable to locate\u00a0the man to see if he had the required permit to sell door to door within the city limits. While on patrol, officers observed a vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex\u00a0that was in violation of City of Reed City ordinance No. 1284.13. An abatement notice will\u00a0be served. 12\/17 Officers were called to the Spectrum Health\u00a0Reed City\u00a0Hospital parking lot\u00a0regarding the welfare of a mother and her children. Family members were called to assist\u00a0the young mother with her children. 12\/18 Officers were requested to assist the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Department.\u00a0Due to the known felony\u2019s record, Reed City Police Department was asked to performing\u00a0a stand-by for the officers' safety. Officers were requested to assist the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Department with a well-being check on a possible suicidal female. Officers were requested to perform a well-being check on a young child. The out-of-town\u00a0father called expressing concern after hearing another child in the home had been injured. 12\/19 Officers were dispatched to local apartment complex where a female's voice\u00a0could be heard calling for help. The 74-year-old female was located with no immediate\u00a0life threatening injuries. A Mobile Intensive Care Unit was dispatched to the scene,\u00a0along with Reed City Fire personal to unlock the door. Officers served an arrest warrant for stalking on a 32-year-old male who was already\u00a0lodged at the Osceola Count Jail. 12\/20 While performing a traffic stop, officers found the 31-year-old driver to be\u00a0driving with an expired registration, expired and no operator\u2019s license, along with no\u00a0proof of insurance. He was issued an appearance ticket for the misdemeanor and released\u00a0to have his wife who had a valid driver\u2019s license to drive home.
