Reed City


Officers responded to an apartment complex for a noise complaint. Officers made contact with the tenant and a warning was issued.


Officers were called to a business for an alarm. Upon arrival it was determined that an employee accidentally tripped the alarm and everything was OK.

Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a disorderly subject at the hospital.


Officers handled a walk-in malicious destruction of property complaint. The complainant reported that someone had smashed his mailbox. A report was completed.


Officers located two subjects that were wanted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Department. The subjects were turned over to Lake County deputies without incident.

Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department in searching for two runaway juveniles from Eagle Village.


Officers assisted the Muscatine County Sheriff’s Department in Iowa with a fraud investigation involving a Reed City resident. The matter is under further investigation.


Officers were called to an apartment complex for a subject possibly trespassing on the property. Officers did not find the subject on the property.

Officers assisted a stranded motorist on North Chestnut Street.


Officers served a trash abatement notice to a resident in Reed City. The resident has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken.

Officers were called to a gas station for a disturbance in the parking lot. Officers arrived on scene to find multiple subjects arguing in the parking lot. One subject was arrested for being in violation of his parole conditions and was lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.
