Officers served abatement paperwork to local residence regarding his junk vehicle. Officers responded to an alarm activation at a local business. It was found to be a false alarm. Officers received a parole violation warrant for a 51-year-old male. He was arrested and transported\u00a0to the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers received information regarding the possible theft and fraudulent rental of a motor vehicle.\u00a0The matter is under investigation. 12\/8 Officers assisted with a woman who had fallen in a city parking lot. She claimed to be\u00a0uninjured, but as a safety measure the EMS transported her to the Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital emergency room\u00a0for a medical evaluation. 12\/10 Officers investigated a suspicious situation regarding a female being continually\u00a0approach by a male while she was working. The matter has been resolved. Officers assisted a father with returning his son to his home. The 16-year-old male had been staying\u00a0with friends for a week refusing to go home. The father later called stating the boy had left upset\u00a0and went to his mother\u2019s home. Officers advised the father of the proper channels to go through\u00a0due to the parenting order from the Friend of the Court. 12\/11 Officers assisted with the investigation of a possible family abuse situation. The matter\u00a0is under investigation. Officers responded to a local business regarding an alarm activation. The matter was found to be a\u00a0false alarm. Case closed. Officers were called to a local residence regarding a suspicious situation. Two juveniles ran to the\u00a0Sheriff's Department stating they had returned home from school to an open door, and believed\u00a0someone was in the house. Officers checked the home and found nothing missing at the time. Officers were dispatched to a local gas station regarding a two-car accident. No injuries were\u00a0reported. 12\/12 Officers were called to assist the Osceola County Sheriff's Department with a personal\u00a0injury accident. Officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked at a business after hours. It was discovered the driver\u00a0had stopped to rest. Officers were dispatched a local business regarding an alarm activation. Officers found the building\u00a0to be secure and as requested by the owners cleared the scene. 12\/13 Officers were dispatched to local residence regarding a 911 call that came in and then it\u00a0was disconnected. The officers found it to have been toddlers playing with a cell phone. Case\u00a0closed. Officers observed a suspicious situation regarding two subjects in the lobby of a local church after 3 a.m. Further investigation found a 24-year-old female to have a warrant out for child\u00a0support. Officers then placed her under arrest and transported her to the Osceola County Jail\u00a0without incident.
