Evart Police Report 09\/02-09\/07 09-02 \u00a0An officer was dispatched to a civil complaint. The officer stood by while one\u00a0party picked up their property from the other party. \u00a0An officer was dispatched to a noise complaint. Upon investigating the complaint\u00a0the officer made contact with a subject under the age of 21 who had been consuming alcohol.\u00a0The subject refused to corporate and was arrested after a brief struggle. 09-05 \u00a0An officer was dispatched to a prowler complaint. The complainant and victims\u00a0were unable to identify the subject, but provided a description. The officer was unable to\u00a0locate the subject, but learned that one of the witnesses had an outstanding warrant. The\u00a0subject with the warrant was arrested. 09-06 \u00a0An officer was dispatched to the middle school for a dog at large complaint. The\u00a0officer located a brown, male pit bull mix dog lying in front of a door. The officer caught the\u00a0dog, and transported it to the Osceola County Animal Control Shelter. 09-07 \u00a0An officer was dispatched to a prowler complaint. The complainant and witnesses\u00a0were unable to identify the subjects, but provided a description. The officer was unable to\u00a0locate the subjects. Reed City Police Report 09\/02-09\/08 09-02 \u00a0Officers responded to a fire alarm at City Hall.\u00a0 Officers arrived on scene and found that alarm to be false. 09-03 \u00a0Officers located a subject that had two outstanding warrants out of our department for larceny from a motor vehicle and larceny less than $200.\u00a0 The subjectwas arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers located a subject that a no trespass notice had been issued on for an apartment complex.\u00a0 The subject was served the notice without incident. 09-04 \u00a0Officers were called for a juvenile runaway.\u00a0 Officers were able to locate the runaway and he was returned home.\u00a0 An hour later the juvenile again ran away from his mother and is still listed as a runaway.\u00a0 Officers were assisted the by the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Department and the Michigan State Police. \u00a0Officers on patrol responded to a residence on E Church St for a possible suicidal subject.\u00a0 Officers made contact with another subject that had three outstanding warrants for his arrest out of the Newaygo County Sheriff\u2019s Office and the Evart Police Department.\u00a0 The subject was arrested and then transported to the jail by another unit while officers continued to look for the suicidal subject who was reported to have a butcher knife.\u00a0 The suicidal subject was located in the parking lot of an apartment complex without the knife and was transported to the hospital for a mental evaluation without incident.\u00a0 Officers were assisted by the Michigan State Police and the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Department. \u00a0Officers responded to an apartment complex for a report of a domestic disturbance.\u00a0 Officers arrived on scene to find that it was a verbal argument only and no assault had occurred.\u00a0 The subjects were both given warnings. \u00a0Officers on patrol found a bike on Rails to Trails.\u00a0 The bike was taken into safekeeping at the department until claimed by the owner. 09-06 \u00a0Officers on patrol stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.\u00a0 It was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle without a valid license and without insurance on the vehicle.\u00a0 The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. \u00a0Officers responded to an apartment complex for a civil matter regarding custody of a child.\u00a0 Through investigation it was determined that no court order existed regarding child custody and the complaint was advised to contact the court in the morning. \u00a0Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.\u00a0 It was discovered that the driver was operating with a fraudulent license plate registration sticker.\u00a0 The vehicle was impounded and the matter is under further investigation. 09-06 \u00a0Officers issued a trash abatement to a property owner in the city.\u00a0 The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken. \u00a0Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.\u00a0 It was discovered that the driver was operating on an expired license.\u00a0 The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. \u00a0Officers responded to a residence for a threats complaint between two parents over their children.\u00a0 Both parties were given a warning to stay away from each other and provided with a course of action. \u00a0Officers were called to an apartment complex for a possible prowler complaint.\u00a0 The complaint was unfounded.\u00a0 The complainant was suffering from mental health issues. \u00a0Officers responded to an apartment complex for a report of a female calling 911 and stating she needed help and then hung up on the dispatcher.\u00a0 Officers searched for the caller who was suffering from mental health issues and she was eventually located and everything was determined to be ok. 09-07 \u00a0Officers issued a junk abatement to a property owner in the city that had multiple dismantled vehicles in the yard.\u00a0 The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken. 09-08 \u00a0Officers responded to a civil complaint over child custody.\u00a0 The parties were advised to contact the court and were provided with a course of action. \u00a0Officers on patrol located a dog at large.\u00a0 The dog owner was located and given a warning for the dog running at large. \u00a0Officers responded to a residence for a threats complaint that was occurring over Facebook.\u00a0 Both parties were warned and provided with a course of action.
