Officers responded to an apartment complex for a report of a subject allowing his dog to defecate on\u00a0others property. The subject was located and warned. Officers were called to a residence for a possible animal neglect case. Officers on patrol located two juvenile subjects there were in possession of car jacks. Upon\u00a0questioning the subjects it was later determined that they had stolen the items from a yard sale. Officers were requested to assist the Michigan State Police on a call on U.S. 131 where a car\u00a0was overturned in the median. The owner\u00a0of the dog was located and cited. Officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Cadillac where property stolen from a residence\u00a0in Reed City was reported to be at. Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating the\u00a0vehicle while intoxicated. The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without\u00a0incident. 08\/24 Officers handled a threats complaint. The complainant did not wish to pursue the\u00a0matter; he just wanted it documented in case anything further was to happen. A report was\u00a0completed. The complainant reported that she\u00a0was away at the hospital and her apartment was unlocked and that someone had entered the\u00a0residence and stole some items while she was gone. The subjects were identified and determined to be waiting for someone. 08\/25 Officers responded to a trailer park for a larceny of gas complaint. The complaint\u00a0stated that someone had stolen about $20 worth of gas from her vehicle\u2019s tank. A report was\u00a0completed and the matter is under investigation. Upon arrival it was\u00a0determined that two of the subjects had departed. All parties had been heavily drinking. Verbal\u00a0warnings were issued and the matter was closed.
