Evart Police Report 08\/12-08\/18 08\/12\u00a0 \u2022 An officer was dispatched to Riverside Park for a suspicious bag. The officer looked inside\u00a0of the bag and recognized the contents as methamphetamine components. The bag and its contents\u00a0were turned over to the Traverse Narcotics Team. 08\/14 \u2022 An officer was dispatched to a larceny complaint. The officer met with the complainant\u00a0who advised they never received merchandised they purchased on the internet. The complaint is still\u00a0under investigation. 08\/14 \u2022 An officer was dispatched to a check well being. The officer learned the subject has been\u00a0in the hospital and passed the information on to the complainant. 08\/15 \u2022 An officer was dispatched to a larceny complaint. The officer met with the complainant\u00a0who advised they had personal property stolen from their vehicle. The complaint is still under\u00a0investigation. 08\/15 \u2022 An individual with an outstanding warrant came to the Evart Police Department to turn\u00a0them self in. The warrant was confirmed and the individual was taken into custody. 08\/16 \u2022 An officer was dispatched to a single vehicle accident. The accident was investigated and\u00a0the driver was citied. 08\/16 \u2022 An officer was dispatched to a dog at large complaint. The officer was able to catch the\u00a0dog and returned it to its owner. The owner was cited for the violation. 08\/17 \u2022 An officer was dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff Department with a one\u00a0vehicle rollover accident. \u2022 An officer was dispatched to a disturbance complaint. The officer learned that one subject\u00a0was a minor in possession of alcohol, and another subject had furnished the alcohol to the minor. Both\u00a0subjects were taken into custody for the violations. \u2022 An officer was dispatched to a trespassing complaint. The officer met with the\u00a0complainant who advised the suspect had left the property when he called 9-1-1. \u2022 An officer was dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff Department with a single\u00a0vehicle accident. The officer arrived on scene and stood by the driver of the vehicle until deputies\u00a0arrived on scene. After investigating the accident the driver was arrested for OWI. 08\/18 \u2022 An officer was dispatched to a barking dog complaint. The officer checked the area but did\u00a0not hear any dogs barking in the neighborhood. Reed City Police Report 08\/12-08\/15 08\/12 \u2022 Officers responded to a home in the 400 block of W. Slosson Ave. for a 911 hang up\u00a0call. Officers arrived on scene and checked the residence and made contact with the home owner\u00a0who was cleaning the phone and dial 9-1-1 by mistake. \u2022 Officers were called to an apartment complex for a report of a disorderly female in the parking lot.\u00a0Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the subject who had been in a verbal altercation\u00a0with her boyfriend. Both subjects were given verbal warnings for their conduct. \u2022 Officers did a well being check on a subject who was reported to be suicidal. The subject was\u00a0located and was not suicidal. No further action was needed. \u2022 Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating\u00a0on a suspended license. The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without\u00a0incident. \u2022 Officers were called to a residence for a possible breaking and entering complaint at a vacant\u00a0residence. Officers arrived on scene and found a broken window in an area that did not lead to\u00a0the main part of the home. The rest of the residence was checked and found to be secure. The\u00a0complaint was unfounded. \u2022 Officers were requested to assist the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Department with checking for a cow\u00a0in the roadway on Northland Dr. just south of the city limits. Officers checked the area and the cow\u00a0was not located. \u2022 Officers responded to a residence for a civil dispute over a vehicle. It was determined that both\u00a0subjects owned the vehicle and were provided with a course of action as the matter was civil only. \u2022 Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver had an\u00a0outstanding warrant for neglect child out of the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Department. The subject\u00a0was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. \u2022 Officers on patrol located a vehicle parked at a closed business after hours. Officers made contact\u00a0with the driver who was a 17-year-old male and the female passenger who was 15 years old. It\u00a0was determined that criminal sexual conduct had occurred and the matter is being investigated.\u00a0The juvenile victim was returned to her parents. The male subject was released pending further\u00a0investigation and prosecutor review. 08\/13 \u2022 Officers handled a walk in complaint at the department in regards to a stolen wallet.\u00a0The complainant stated he had a friend over this pass weekend and believes that the friend stole his\u00a0wallet. A report was completed and the matter is under investigation. \u2022 Officers were called to an apartment home to speak to the landlord. It was reported that a subject\u00a0had been seen going through mailboxes a couple weeks ago. The subject was contacted and\u00a0warned. It was determined that the subject was the boyfriend to a tenant in the building. \u2022 Officers responded to a residence on Durham St. for a trash complaint. Trash was left at the curb\u00a0after trash pickup. The owner was contacted and the trash was removed. \u2022 Officers were requested to do a property check at a vacant home. Officers arrived on scene and\u00a0found the residence to be secure. \u2022 Officers responded to an apartment complex to do a well being check on an infant. Officers arrived\u00a0at the home and found that no one was home. The complaint was unfounded. 08\/14 \u2022 Officers were requested to assist a Parole Agent at a residence in the city. Officers\u00a0arrived on scene and found that the parolee was in violation of his parole conditions and was\u00a0arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.
