07/01

  • Officers responded to an apartment complex to assist family members that were having problems with a family member that had Alzheimer’s disease. A plan of action was developed and the matter was turned over to medical professionals.
  • Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle with an expired license. The driver was given an appearance citation at the scene and released.
  • Officer on patrol located a subject at his residence that had two outstanding warrants for burglary. The subject was taken into custody and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

07/02

  • Officers responded to a two vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of Patterson Rd and W. Franklin Ave. There were no injuries and only minor damage. A report was completed.
  • Officers were called to a residence for a well being check on a subject. Officers arrived on scene and the subject was located and everything was fine.
  • Officers were requested to assist the Michigan State Police with doing a warrant attempt on multiple subjects residing at a residence. Officers located one of the subjects driving to the residence and the subject was stopped and arrested.

07/03

  • Officers responded to an apartment complex for a call of a suicidal subject. The subject was located and transported to Community Mental Health for an evaluation without incident.
  • Officers were called to S. Chestnut St. at Church St. for a two vehicle traffic crash. There were no injuries and only minor damage. A report was completed.

07/04

  • Officers located a subject with an outstanding warrant for contempt of court at a gas station in Reed City. The subject was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.
  • Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was intoxicated and in possession of open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. The subject was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.
  • Officers were called to the Hospital to assist with a disorderly patient. Officers arrived on scene and were able to calm the subject down. The subject was warned and there were no further issues.
  • Officers on patrol located a bottle of medication in the roadway. The owner of the medication has been identified and Officers are in the process of returning the medication to the subject.

07/05

  • Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense) and without a license in his possession. The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

07/06

  • Officers were called to a residence for a civil dispute over a computer. Officers arrived on scene and the parties had resolved the issue themselves. No action was needed.
  • Officers responded to a residence for a report of a larceny. Officers arrived on scene and interviewed those involved. The matter is under investigation.
  • Officers on a traffic stop found that a passenger in the vehicle had consumed alcohol, a violation of his probation conditions. A report was completed and submitted to his Probation Officer for review.

07/07

  • Officers responded to a found property complaint. The complainant had found another persons’ debit card. Officers are in the process of location the owner of the card.
  • Officers were called to a dog at large complaint. The dog was located and taken to the Osceola County Animal Shelter until claimed by the owner.
