• An officer was dispatched to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. After arriving on scene the officer determined an assault had occurred. Two subjects were arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail.

• An officer was dispatched to a residence on an assault complaint. After making contact with all parties involved, the officer determined an assault had occurred. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail.

• An officer was dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic stop. The officer arrested and transported one subject to the Osceola County Jail on charges of a minor in possession of alcohol.

• An officer was dispatched to a property damage accident at a local business. No injuries were reported.

• An officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to a civil dispute complaint. The officer made contact with both parties and advised them how to best handle the situation.

• An officer was dispatched to a dog at large complaint at the intersection of 9th Street and Pine Street. The officer was unable to make contact with the dog.

• An officer was dispatched to the Forest Hill Cemetery on a complaint that several juveniles were riding bicycles through the cemetery.The officer made contact with an adult subject at the cemetery who indicated the juveniles were with him and being supervised.

• An officer was dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic stop. The officer transported the passengers of the vehicle to their residence.

• An officer was dispatched to 7th Street on a complaint of a vehicle disregarding a redtraffic light. The officer located the suspect vehicle; the driver was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail on charges of driving with a suspended license, second offense, operating an unregistered vehicle and an existing warrant.

• An officer responded to a residence to assist EMS and Evart Rescue with a medical call. The subject was transported by EMS to Reed City Hospital. The officer remained on-scene to advise family members of the patient’s status and the destination of the ambulance.

• An officer was dispatched to a residence for a breaking and entering complaint. Officers collected evidence and cleared the scene. The case is still open pending further investigation.

• An officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to a harassment complaint. The officer made contact with the complainant and advised him how to best handle the situation. The officer attempted contact with the suspect, but was unable to locate the individual.

• Officers located a subject who was on posted no trespassing property. The subject was identified and determined to be homeless. The subject had an outstanding warrant out of Detroit; however they would not pick the subject up. The subject was escorted out of the city.

• Officers were called to an apartment complex for a larceny complaint. Upon arrival the subject had obtained his items back from the subjects that had taken them and no further action was needed.

• Officers responded to an apartment complex for a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival it was determined that the argument was verbal only and no assault had taken place. The parties involved were warned.

• Officers investigated a harassment complaint at an apartment complex in the city. The complainant reported that another tenant made an inappropriate comment to her.  A report was completed and the matter was turned over to the apartment manager as it was not a criminal complaint.

• Officers responded to a civil child custody dispute at a residence in the city. The parties were provided with a course of action.

• Officers were called to a bank for an after hours alarm. The property was checked and found to be secure. The property manager was notified.

• Officers issued numerous grass abatement notices to residents in the city. The owners have the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken.

• Officers located four juveniles in violation of the curfew ordinance. The juveniles were escorted home to their parents and were issued a warning.

• Officers were called for a larceny complaint. The complaint was unfounded and no further action is being taken.

• Officers assisted the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department on a traffic stop. Once the scene was secure the officer resumed normal patrol duties within the city.

• Officers responded to an apartment complex for a civil peace officer stand by. The complainant wished to get her clothes from the residence; however the homeowner would not open the door. The complainant was advised that it was a civil matter and provided with a course of action.

• Officers were called to a business for an alarm. Upon arrival the building was found to be secure and the alarmwas determined to be false. The property manager was notified.

• Officers doing property checks located an open window at a business in the city. The property was checked and the property owner was notified.

• Officers responded to a business in the city for a suspicious person loitering around the business. The subject had left prior to officers arriving on scene. A description was obtained and the matter is under investigation.

• Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver did not initially pull over and a short, low speed pursuit occurred. The vehicle finally pulled over and it was determined that the driver was highly intoxicated. The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without further incident.

• Officers were called for a suspicious person in the parking lot of a business. Officers checked the subject.  The subject had made a wrong turn and got lost and was looking for a place to stay for the night. Assistance was given.

• Officers assisted the Michigan State Police in searching a building where an open overhead door was discovered.  The building was determined to be secure and the property owner was notified.

• Officers were called to the area of W Fifth Ave for a barking dog complaint. The owner of the dog was located and given a warning.

• Officers responded to the area of E Church St for a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival it was determined to be a verbal argument only. The parties involved were separated and given a warning.

• Officers issued a trash abatement to a resident in the city.  The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken.

• Officers were called to a residence on W Franklin Ave for a child custody dispute. The parties were advised that the complaint was civil and they were provided with a course of action.
