• An officer was dispatched to N. Pine St. on a complaint of a silver pick-up driving recklessly through the neighborhood. The officer was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

• An officer was dispatched to a vacant residence in reference to a complaint of a suspicious individual loitering on the property. Officers located the juvenile subject and turned him over to his parents.

• An officer was dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic stop.

• An officer responded to the Evart Elementary School for a complaint of a dog at large. The dog was transported to the Osceola County Animal Shelter.

• An officer assisted the State of Michigan Child Protective Services with an

investigation.

• An officer was dispatched to a local business on a complaint of retail fraud. The officer made contact with the three juvenile suspects and their parents.  The juveniles were turned over to their parents and the parents were advised the matter was being turned over to the Osceola County Prosecutor’s Office.

• An officer was dispatched to a residence on a missing juvenile complaint. The juvenile was located and returned to the parents.

• An officer assisted the State of Michigan Child Protective Services with an investigation.

• An officer was dispatched to a local business on a complaint of prescription fraud. The case was turned over to the Osceola County Prosecutor.

• An officer was dispatched to a residence on a malicious destruction of property complaint. The officer documented a damaged mailbox at the residence; the case is inactive at this time.

• Officers issued multiple grass abatement notices to property owners in the city. The owners have the allotted time to correct the violations or further enforcement action will be taken.

• Officers responded to an illegal burn at a residence within the city. The subject was burning construction materials. The Fire Department was called to the scene to extinguish the fire and the subject was cited.

• Officers were called to a business for a parking complaint.  The complainant was provided with a course of action.

Officers were dispatched to an alarm at a business in the city.  The building was searched and found to be secure.  The property owner was notified.

• Officers investigated a violation of controlled substance act complaint at the school. The suspect has been identified and the matter is under investigation.

Officers handled a child protective services referral for abuse.  The matter is under investigation.

• Officers were called for two naked children playing by the roadway on S Chestnut St. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the parent of the children. The subject was warned and the matter has been forwarded to Child Protective Services.

• Officers issued a grass abatement to a property owner in the city.  The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken.

• Officers responded to W Slosson Ave for a neighbor dispute. The parties were provided with a course of action and the matter is closed.

• Officers were called to an apartment complex for a noise complaint. The subject was located and given a warning.

• Officers responded to 210 and appeared to need help. Officers checked the area and nothing suspicious or unusual was observed.

• Officer assisted with traffic control for a motorcycle rally.

• Officers were called to a residence for a dog at large complaint.  The owner of the dogs was located and given a warning.

• Officers issued numerous grass abatement notices to property owners in the city. The owners have the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken.

• Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating on a suspended license. The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

• Officers assisted with a civil dispute occurring on the Pere Marquette Trail. The parties involved were warned and provided with a course of action.

• Officers were called to a residence for a larceny of a lawn mower complaint.  A possible suspect has been identified and the matter is under investigation.

• Officers responded to the area of Maplewood for a neighbor dispute. Officers arrived on scene and the parties were provided with a course of action and given a waning for their conduct.

• Officers assisted the Evart Police Department on a domestic assault at a residence in Evart. Once the scene was secure the officer resumed normal patrol duties within the city.

• Officers responded to a barking dog complaint at a residence in the city.  The owners of the dogs were cited. The subjects also had outstanding warrants out of Wexford County and were arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.
