Evart Police Report 05\/20-05\/26 05\/20 \u2022 While conducting a traffic stop, an officer identified a passenger as having an un-served warrant. The subject was arrested and transported the Osceola County Jail. \u2022\u00a0While on patrol an officer observed a juvenile riding a scooter in the middle of the roadway and violating several traffic codes. The juvenile was turned over to the parents who were advised of the traffic laws. 05\/22 \u2022\u00a0While conducting a traffic stop an officer found the driver to be without a valid operator\u2019s license.\u00a0 The driver was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving with an expired license. \u2022\u00a0While conducting a traffic stop an officer found the driver to be without a valid operator\u2019s license; the subject was arrested for a probation violation and transported the Osceola County Jail. \u2022\u00a0An officer assisted the State of Michigan Child Protective Services with an alleged abuse investigation. 05\/23 \u2022\u00a0An officer was dispatched to a residence for a disorderly juvenile. The officer made contact with the complainant and the juvenile, and advised both individuals how to best handle the situation.\u00a0 The officer cleared the scene without further incident. 05\/24 \u2022\u00a0An officer was dispatched to a location for a requested area check. The complainant indicated that two subjects were walking on the roof of a local business. The officer made contact with the individuals, and identified one of the subjects as having an un-served warrant. The individual was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail. \u2022\u00a0An officer responded to a residence in reference to a noise complaint. The individuals in question had cleared the scene upon the officer\u2019s arrival. The complainant submitted a written statement in the event of continued problems. \u2022\u00a0An officer was dispatched to River Street for a complaint of an aggressive dog at large. The officer located the dog and turned it over to the owners. 05\/25 \u2022\u00a0An officer was dispatched to a residence for a malicious destruction of property complaint. The officer made contact with the complainant who indicated a window on his vehicle had been shot with a BB gun and hubcaps had been removed. The case is still open pending further investigation. Reed City Police Report 05\/20-05\/26 05\/20 \u2022\u00a0Officers checked the area of Glen St for a report of door to door salesmen selling services without a permit. Officers checked the area and the subjects had departed prior to arrival. \u2022\u00a0Officers were called for a found bike on a vacant lot in the city. The bike was taken and placed into safe keeping until claimed by the owner. \u2022\u00a0Officers handled a walk in complaint regarding a juvenile male being stalked and harassed by an older female. A report was initiated and the matter is under investigation. 05\/21 \u2022\u00a0Officers were called to investigate a possible criminal sexual conduct complaint involving a 15 and 16-year old boys. The matter is under investigation. \u2022\u00a0Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver of the vehicle was operating on a suspended license. The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. \u2022\u00a0Officers were called for a juvenile runaway complaint. The juvenile had left school and was not able to be located. Officers searched the area for the juvenile and a few hours later the mother of the child reported that he had found her son walking on US 10. \u2022\u00a0Officers located a subject at her residence that had an outstanding warrant for Contempt of Court out of the Mecosta County Sheriff\u2019s Office. The subject was arrested and turned over to Mecosta County Deputies without incident. \u2022\u00a0Officers were advised of a subject at a bar in violation of his parole conditions. Officers checked the bar and the subject was not there as reported. The complaint was unfounded. 05\/22 \u2022\u00a0Officers responded to a residence for an identity theft complaint. The victim reported that someone had used her information to obtain an account with DTE Energy in Detroit. A report was completed and the matter is under investigation. \u2022\u00a0Officers were called for a subject camping off of Rails to Trails on city property. Officers attempted to make contact with the subject but he was not there at the time. The matter is open pending locating the subject. \u2022\u00a0Officers issued a grass abatement to a property owner in the city. The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken. \u2022\u00a0Officers doing property checks observed vandalism in the bathrooms of The Depot.\u00a0 A report was completed and the matter is under investigation. 05\/23 \u2022\u00a0Officers assisted Child Protective Services on a home inspection at a residence in the city. Officers stood by and there were no problems encountered. \u2022\u00a0Officers handled a walk in complaint regarding a possible sex offender failing to comply with the registration act.\u00a0 A report was completed and the matter is under further investigation. \u2022\u00a0Officers responded to an apartment complex for a 911 hang up call.\u00a0 Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the caller who was having mental health issues.\u00a0 The subject was transported to the hospital to be evaluated without incident. 05\/24 \u2022\u00a0Officers investigated a complaint of a reckless driver on US 10. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was performed. The driver was given a warning about his driving. \u2022\u00a0Officers were called to a business in the city for a turfing complaint.\u00a0 The complainant reported that someone in a truck had torn up the lawn of the business.\u00a0 A report was completed and the matter is under investigation. \u2022\u00a0Officers on patrol located a subject at her residence that had an outstanding warrant for illegal dumping. The subject was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. 05\/25 \u2022\u00a0Officers assisted the Michigan State Police with a combative suicidal subject at the hospital. Once the subject was under control the officers resumed normal patrol duties. \u2022\u00a0Officers assisted a Leroy resident in lodging a stray dog at the Animal Shelter. \u2022\u00a0Officers were called the hospital to investigate a possible criminal sexual conduct complaint that occurred over 8 years ago. Officers interviewed the victim and the matter is under investigation. 05\/26 \u2022\u00a0Officers were called to an apartment complex for a report of a subject refusing to exchange custody of a child as per a court order. Officers arrived on scene and the exchange was completed without incident. \u2022\u00a0Officers responded to a gas station in the city for a gas drive off complaint. The incident is under investigation. \u2022\u00a0Officers were called to the Motel for a well being check.\u00a0 Officers arrived on scene and found that the subject was OK.
