The parties were separated and advised to work out their differences in a civilized manner. An officer was dispatched to assist with a disorderly juvenile. The subject was escorted off the premises then turned over to their legal guardian. 06\/10 An officer assisted an outside agency with an area check. An officer handled a larceny of a prescription medication complaint. An officer was dispatched to assist Osceola County EMS on a medical emergency on U.S. 10. An officer was dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff's Department on a suicidal subject. 06\/11 An officer was dispatched to an area check of juveniles throwing debris at buildings. 06\/12 An officer was dispatched to an alarm. The building was found to be secure. An officer was dispatched to a well-being check. The individual was located and found to be secure. 06\/13 An officer was dispatched to a situation of two minors who did not appear to be supervised. The officer made contact with the subjects and they were reunited with their parents. Reed City ALERT: The Reed City Police Department has received information that an unknown individual\u00a0or individuals are calling and requesting money be sent for warrants or fines owed. The\u00a0calls at this time are originating from New York. Any money collected by the Reed City\u00a0Police Department for fines or warrants is done in person by a uniformed officer. The\u00a0Reed City Police Department is asking you report any such activity and do not send\u00a0money. 6\/8 Officers performed a property check regarding tall grass and building\u00a0material\/lumber in the yard. The appropriate abatement was issued and a follow up\u00a0inspection will follow. 6\/9 Officers were requested to respond to a neighborhood complaint regarding a\u00a0speeding vehicle that also appeared to be purposely revving up its loud engine,\u00a0intimidating the neighborhood residents and causing concern for the safety of the young\u00a0children living in and visiting the neighborhood. The matter is under investigation. 6\/10 Officers received a complaint regarding bank fraud. The matter is under\u00a0investigation. Officers were dispatched to an adult foster care home to assist with the transportation of a\u00a053-year-old female to the emergency room at Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital.\u00a0Although the individual had been contemplating hurting herself, she went with the\u00a0officer to the ER without incident. Officers were requested to perform a well-being check on a child that had not attended\u00a0the last week of school. After several attempts and with the assistance of the Osceola\u00a0County Sheriff's Department, it was found that the child had left town. Officers were dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff's Department in Hersey\u00a0Township on a well-being check. While on patrol, officers observed a residence to be in violation of City Ordinance 674.02\u00a0regarding tall grass. While attempting to make contact with the owner, Officers found it\u00a0to be in violation of several other ordinances making it a dangerous dwelling. The\u00a0officer will locate the owner and make the appropriate actions to take care of the\u00a0violations. 6\/11 Officers were dispatched to an apartment complex to locate and assist the\u00a0person who had placed a call into 911. The individual had placed the call from a cell\u00a0phone and then hung up without speaking to the dispatcher. Mecosta County Central\u00a0Dispatch then called the number back several times to inquire if there was an emergency,\u00a0only to be hung up on without a word. The 31-year-old female was located in one of the\u00a0apartments and transported by the Osceola EMS to Spectrum Health Reed CityHospital\u00a0for non-life threatening treatment. Officers were dispatched to a local residence regarding a non-aggravated assault\u00a0involving a 16-year-old male and a 41-year -old male. No injuries were reported and the\u00a0matter is under investigation. While conducting a traffic stop, officers found the vehicle to have a fraudulent license\u00a0plate and no insurance. The driver of the vehicle stated he was interested in purchasing\u00a0the car and was test driving it. Therefore he was unaware of the fraudulent license plate\u00a0and that there was no insurance on the vehicle. Officers also found the 36-year-old\u00a0female passenger to have three outstanding warrants. She was placed under arrest and\u00a0lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident. The vehicle was impounded. 6\/12 Officers were requested to assist a Grand Traverse Tribal Police in monitoring\u00a0a prisoner during a transportation stop. While officers had pulled a car over for speeding, they found the driver did not have a\u00a0valid driver's license and to be in possession of marijuana. The 30-year-old male was\u00a0arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers responded to a possible fraud investigation. An individual had purchased two\u00a0phones off of Craig's List and is now unable to use them. The matter is under\u00a0investigation. 6\/13 Officers were dispatched to a local residence regarding a loud noise violation.\u00a0There, officers found a 29-year -old female intoxicated and passed out on the lawn, who was in\u00a0need of assistance. \u00a0EMS was called and the individual was transported to Spectrum\u00a0Health Reed City Hospital for treatment without incident. Officers were called to a two-car property damage accident on West Stimson. The vehicle\u00a0backed out of the drive into a parked vehicle. 6\/15 Officers were dispatched to an alarm activation at a local business. Upon\u00a0further investigation in was found to be a false alarm.
